Learn statistics without drowning in formulas or technical jargon. No experience needed! Statistics for Absolute Beginners is the ultimate crash course for anyone looking to conquer statistics, even if you've never touched a textbook before. Written in a refreshingly accessible style, this second edition breaks down essential topics including probability, distributions, hypothesis testing, regression, and moreโwithout overwhelming jargon or unnecessary complexity. You'll learn how to think statistically, solve problems, and apply concepts to real-world scenarios, making it ideal for both academic and business settings. What youโll learn: - The difference between descriptive and inferential statistics - How to interpret probability like a pro - Hypothesis testing and when to use z-tests vs. t-tests - Linear regression and correlation explained with simplicity - Real-life applications in business, data science, and research Perfect for: - Students needing a statistics textbook in high school and college - Professionals seeking a probability and statistics book for beginners - Aspiring analysts needing an introduction to statistics - Anyone overwhelmed by dense statistics books or those who found "Statistics for Dummies" too generic - Learners looking to bridge into statistics for data science If you're seeking a smart, straightforward guide that removes the fear and confusion from learning statistics, Statistics for Absolute Beginners delivers exactly thatโno fluff, no filler, just the fundamentals explained clearly. Start learning statistics today and see the numbers differently! Review: Nice, nice, very nice. (Who first said that? I think Kurt Vonnegut.) - If I were teaching biostatistics again (something I have done on two occasions), I would consider this book as the text to my course. I've been away from academia long enough to recognize the need to survey other possible texts, but at the very least this book does nothing obviously wrong. It brings basic statistics to students or those simply interested in the subject, a nice, easily understandable introduction. Not strong on research design, data analysis, or clinical versus statistical significance, but it's what it purports to be: an introductory text. It achieves its goal. Review: Fantastic introduction to stats - A well written book with clear explanations and examples that make it easy to dive into the basics of learning about stats. A highly recommended read to start oneโs journey into stats and a springboard to continue to dive deeper.

Great basics and Beginning
I used this book and the others in this authors series to lay a foundation for myself to pursue my goal of AWS Machile Learning Certification, I highly recommend this and the other books in this author's series, respectably for someone who is just beginning in the field of Data Science, Data Analytics, and Machine Learning.

This is truely fist hand textbook for beginners in the field of statistics.
This book is over simplified that certain fine details are left out. Kindly include these details in the revised edition.
