### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked perfectly.

I had to replace the factory head unit in my 2016 subaru impreza that had a factory backup camera. I read online that the factory camera used a lower voltage compared to the output of the aftermarket head unit I planned to install. This item is deisgned to step down the 12v output of the aftermarket headunit to the appropriate volatge toso as to not overwork or damage the factory camera. this item is also used at some local install shops to acheive the same result. It worked great with my setup and install was easy if you follow the wiring directions correctly.

Pretty straightforward, plenty of wire to make all your connections. Was able to route 12v reverse light power to 6v camera power.
