No. It won’t just stay together by itself. It’s a pretty smooth surface on the foam. I used it doubled for an insulated fish bag and used hot glue to keep them together. And I stitched around the edges just to make sure in the future, as the foam gets worn, that it didn’t fold over on itself between the layers of the bag. That worked well.
