Perfect for Lazyboy use!
Sitting at my desk to use the desk top would give me a back ache after an hour or so. With this Chromebit I can kick back in my lazy boy, and get everything done that I would normally do on the desk top. It was plug and go! Once I typed in my gmai account and password, everything worked! A bit irritated that I can't find a decent bluetooth keyboard made for Lazyboy use; but the wireless USB logitech keyboard and mouse I used for the desk top works perfectly. Often friends come over to get me to Google something, no longer do we have to crowd around the desk. Also wonderful for watching Youtube. No need to upgrade my windows 7 desktop now! Instead will upgrade the 42' TV to a 60' one. Makes an awesome gift for geriatric generation, of which I am one. Actually will be gifting one to my daughter for Christmas! Might get more emails from her if she doesn't have to drag out that fancy laptop, after a long day at work.

Failed within months. Failed all recovery methods/attempts
Broken already. Programmers reset hole does nothing. Several attempts with multiple usb recovery sticks made... It verified the data on USB sticks successfully then fails. Wasted a day on this. I charge my customers 112.00 per hour for on site support. Otherwise it was a great product that served us well for a minute.

Almost Too Easy, Fast Quad Core Asus Chrome Stick
This is the easiest HDMI Stick to hook up. And it started working immediately. Love the quad core - flips through web pages or website fast. Again, just find the HDMI connection on the back of the TV and connect, plug in to the outlet, plug the USB tab that comes with the the keyboard to the stick, turn on the TV, find the source, and you are online.

Updates for the OS on this device ENDED August 2020, and I bought the stupid thing the week before.
This little device works pretty well, HOWEVER one of the big selling points of the Chrome OS is that it handles security and security updates on it's own without really bothering the user. It's pretty seamless and simple to use. Just 3 days after I received my Chromebit it notified me that there would be no further updates witch defeats the purpose of buying the thing in the first place. I must urge you not to purchase this device. Without security updates this device is pointless.

Works Great!
Excellent value. No need for a pc with one of these. Just plug into a monitor with HDMI and cable is included. Only runs on wifi though.

Wow, so small yet so powerful
Keep this with you when you travel. Once plugged into ANY HDMA port ( and power ). You have a full screen computer!! No need for a TON of hardware. Very light and small. Uploads, YES ...... No need to leave a Laptop at risk, just upload from the ChromeBit!!!!! Get a USB drive to store your data, or USB adapter,,,
