Exactly what I needed for when I want to game on my big TV.

I requested 3 hour delivery because I was installing my new docking station and needed this to complete the job. Actually came in 1 hour 56 minutes. Worth the $5 shipping charge. Exactly what I needed and did the job. I'm using it on the monitor (I have dual) that occasionally goes dark. I'm hoping an added effect of this new cable is that this is eliminated, but not the reason why I bought it.

Just recently upgraded the video card (along with a few other components) in my PC, but in doing so, reduced my available HDMI ports to just one, with 3 Display Ports... so obviously I had to do something about that so I can keep rocking two monitors. Enter this product- it does the job I need it for, and at one of the lowest price points I could find. Friendly warning/reminder of this product's info page, this cord is specifically for an HDMI monitor plugging into a display port; it will not work in reverse.

I don't know why Amazon is asking me how many stars I would give this on sheerness. It's just a wire and I don't look at it thinking about how sheer it is. It looks fine. I was pretty bummed when I used this on my Thinkpad W520 laptop and it wasn't sending out any sound. It might be something with my laptop. I went through every setting I could find and there did not seem to be any way to set it to send the audio out through the wire. Because, of course, I am connecting a laptop to a television so I can make the image and audio bigger... but it really kills the experience when you have a big picture attached to laptop speakers. So, I now I'm using an external set of speakers laying next to the laptop/TV which is not the most ideal situation for what I was hoping for and thus the reason I knocked a star. It is possible this won't happen to you but I can imagine that with all the various types of computers and laptops out there that you might be taking a gamble when you but this and end up in the same situation as me. So, it seems worth knowing before you buy.

January'24 I buy DP to HDMI converter from Amazon Still working well 👍, my friend also need a same product so again I ordered the same product on May'24 after received delivery product is not working then few days later I received a replacement but same issue is not working finally I return and I get refund. so I decided to buy again from Amazon after few time of searching I ordered the Avacon DP to HDMI cable. After 1 week I am using the cable is Very good product 💯 working very well. Thanks amazon and thanks seller (accessory bazar)
