Useful and handy connectors for LED lights

I used these clips and splitters to help construct group Halloween costumes involving LED light strings (the 20 foot battery-operated strings from Hedynshine). There are plenty of splitters and clips in this set, just enough for me to make all the needed connections for 6 costumes.The clips are difficult to manage. They're not easy to open. Once you do get them open, you need to insert each LED string end or splitter upside-down into one side of a clip, on top of the pins. If you try to insert the ends *under* the pins, you won't get a good connection. The splitters are quite stiff, and difficult to insert into the clips. The clips can also be difficult to close securely.Even with every connection made upside-down, the clips still slid around enough to disrupt connections sometimes. Our costumes looked great, when they were fully functional. One of my sons lost his whole right leg's connection near the end of Halloween night. The t-splitter slipped out of its side of the clip, and it would have been difficult for me to re-insert it while my son was wearing the costume. Ymmv, but, if you're planning to use these for any application where there's movement involved, beware! You're better off soldering.

There are a lot of reviews with 4 or 5 stars and then they say they didn't work and they had to get another style to be able to get a connection. I agree, they do not work well, pushing the strip in is very difficult to get the contacts on the light strips under the silver connector tabs. Can easily bend the strip trying to get it in. I never could get a good connection on these.

These are exactly what I needed to set up lights in my kids rooms but they don’t exactly fit. The metal prongs are slightly off & spread out to wide for the lights I ordered. I did make sure the measurements matched up before purchasing but they’re still off. I was able to move the prongs in a little bit to make it work but it’s just not worth all the extra so I’ll be buying a different set of connectors & trying again.

Muy fácil de utilizar, muy útiles el primer pedido si se tardo un poco pero el segundo en 3 días llego

Los conectores no son confiables, son mucho muy fáciles de dañar y por ende las conexiones fallan inclusive durante el proceso de instalación. Habrá que buscar conectores de buena calidad.
