Everything you need . Costs more but I didn’t want to have to do it twice. This kit has the replacement seal for the screen.

Fun little project
My screen had been cracked for at least a year. Decided to give this a try. The directions were clear and easy to follow. Took about 2 hours but it’s fixed and working great.

Excellent screen, ridiculous adhesive
The screen worked like a charm, and the tools were all very useful. Those are 5 star. The BIG ISSUE is with the ADHESIVE. For starters, the adhesive used in the iFixit tutorial didn't look like what I recieved, so I had no idea how to properly apply it. When I inevitably messed up, the adhesive wasn't reusable. This was so frustrating, because you pay $130 and you don't get multiple 20 cent replacement adhesives? I'm not a factory, I can't make my own adhesive, iFixit should provide extras. Without the adhesive, your iPhone is NOT WATERPROOF. Really ridiculous that there were no extras.

Overpriced alternative to not genuine screen
I like it installation was a small project I was able to complete as instructed. But the screen is detected by iPhone as not apple screen which is something not approved by apple. Down to 1 star from 4 previously rated last year in 2022. Update : It was broken easily in pieces. Not a good alternative to apple screen. Looks like I paid twice the cost appearing now. Last week I get a 20 dollar replacement screen for iphone 11. Both installation and quality is not superior. Why you pay so much for ifixit name. Deceptive marketing.

Screen replacement for IPhone
I was hesitant to think we would be able to fix my shattered screen. It actually wasn’t too hard to replace. I was thinking I would just have to get a new phone but we were able to save it. Well worth the price.

Not The Kit In The Picture
The kit I received did not come with a pick, only an oddly shaped curved scraper. I grabbed a guitar pick out of my studio which worked fine. A credit card will also work. The suction cup was weak and it took about 25 tries to finally get it to hold so I could lift the screen to separate it from the seal. Get one of those shower or window plastic hooks that you actually flip a lever to create the suction so it doesn't come off. This kit also did not come with the heating device that you place on the screen to heat the water proof seal. My fault for not noticing. I put some rice in a sock, tied the end and threw it in the microwave. Worked great!
