Brilliant, but a bit big
I would say this is the best case for the Apple airpods max (including the original one). You don't need the original case to switch the headphones off/on. The only issue I see here is the size, its big. you can say vertically you are adding 10cm and some width horizontally. I understand they had to do it for the padding cushion, but that makes it less compact

This case is 100% worth the buy. i never felt more safe! This case has such nice hex firm foam padding inside as well with such high quality. there is also a lot of room inside actually for your other set of headphones + cables/ Chargers. Heads up, can take up room in your bag etc...
