I really wanted this to use as a pole for a Jon boat. Worked great

Cover seems fine but when I had tightened up winch the end broke off had to stick the shaft back in the hole to make the teeth catch. I always shrink wrap cover to protect from wind. Hopefully the shrink wrap will hold the winch until spring.

Compared to my 2pc this 3pc takes longer to elongate than the 2pc also 3pc slightly heavier than 2pc. Liked better my old 2pc but this one looks newer. Not impressed but acceptable.
