Healthy tasty hot chocolate!!
Where has this been all my life??? I have been searching FOREVER for a healthier hot chocolate and this is phenomenal! It’s dark chocolate sweetened with stevia and monk fruit. I was worried by the reviews saying it’s clumpy but I use my hand frother to stir mine in and it dissolves very easily. (I haven’t actually tried with just a spoon because I always mix my beverages this way) It tastes dark and sweet (like stevia/monk fruit if you’ve had that before. It’s not straight sugar tasting but it’s not diet-y tasting either. I like it) As a hot chocolate fanatic I am soo happy to have found this. Thank you!

Deep rich flavor
Love this! It has a deep rich flavor that's not too sweet. I put a tablespoon into my cup and added about two ounces of almond milk in and stirred. Got it into a thick syrup. Then I added an additional 13 or so ounces of almond milk. Nuked until hot and stirred. Result was a rich, wonderful treat. I'm lactose intolerant so I so appreciate that this is dairy free! But when you sip, it's the rich taste of chocolate that shines through, not the sugar. Not gonna lie, there is a very faint aftertaste, I'm guessing it's the stevia, but I drink diet Coke so I'm used to that. Love this mix!

Doesn't taste like hot chocolate.
This is very sweet but it doesn't taste like hot chocolate at all. It has a very bitter aftertaste. The consistency reminds me of the old "Alba" drink mix, but it isn't as good. Pass on this one, folks. I won't be finishing the canister.

Tastes good but clumps
I mix it with a half cup of decaf coffee and some Orgain chocolate protein drink. This product is not very sweet and does not mix well. Even after stirring there are clumps. And it's expensive. I still might buy it again because the taste is good.

Great specialty cacao
It is very strong. It says 1 tablespoon but I use more like a teaspoonful and mix with my mini battery powered frother. It’s so good and fun to make. Taste great.

Cannot recommend the product as-is
This is an okay product with some issues for me. The good stuff: sugar free, dairy free, vegan approved. The in-between stuff: it has an intense dark chocolate flavor which is okay. The not-so-good stuff: it touts as being sugar free and that is okay BUT there is no taste of any sweetness at all, it does not go into solution/mix up well, leaving huge lumps of powder floating on the top of my mug no matter if hot/warm/cold water is added; the directions on the canister makes for an off-ration of this powder being way too much for 1 mug in my opinion. But I have been able to make it work by using only half the powder in a mug, adding a packet of stevia and mix using a battery powered drink wand mixer. Probably will not order the sugar free one again. Note: comparatively I previously ordered and loved the sugared version of this and it was the best tasting ever and still had issue of the powder not going into solution easily and had to use the wand hand blender and the ratio of powder also had to be decreased for my liking, BUT the sugar free has a lot more issues as detailed above.

Use a frother to blend....really yummy!
Using a milk frother blends this perfectly. Use milk, not water. I have tried the caramel and the mint. Both are quite tasty. Remember...this is dark chocolate and not milk chocolate so it's nit as sweet. Really good sugar free treat!

I was looking for a rich, thick, good-tasting hot chocolate that would still be workable for someone with Type 2 diabetes. That’s easier said than done. After a fair bit of research, I landed on this mix. Straight out of the can, I’ll be honest—it was disappointing. Thin, not very indulgent, and definitely not what I was hoping for. I was close to regretting the purchase. That said, this mix turned out to be a very good base. With some experimenting, I found that adding powdered skim milk and monk fruit sweetener completely changed it. My process is to blend everything thoroughly, let it sit for a few minutes, then blend again. The result is a much richer, smoother hot chocolate that actually feels decadent. The exact ratios will come down to personal taste, but equal parts of the mix, powdered skim milk, and sweetener is a solid starting point. After dialling it in, I genuinely enjoy this now. It has a proper dark chocolate profile and doesn’t taste like a cheap milk-chocolate mix, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid. Bottom line: not great on its own, but if you’re willing to tweak it, this becomes a very satisfying, diabetes-friendly hot chocolate that I’ll keep using.

Has a very rich chocolate flavour it’s unsweetened so it’s obviously not sweet you will have to add your own sweetener but once you tweak it to your likening it’s very yummy and the mint flavour is very subtle I recommend.

I mixed it in hot unsweetened almond milk. I used a rounded tablespoon of the chocolate powder. The powder took a little stirring to get it all dissolved. I think I'll try hotter milk next time. The powder did not come out of solution while I was drinking it. Flavour is a little bitter but chocolatey , so I added 3/4 level teaspoon of Splenda. This make it smoother and fine for me. I like that it is not oversweet as it is easy to add sweet and very difficult to take it out. I'll make this my regular once I get thru this can. Can comes sealed with an aluminized pull sheet. There is a plastic fitted lid for sealing the powder for reuse.

I saw sugar free, and vegan, and gluten free, and I thought "man this is going to suck." But I found out I was diabetic so I don't have a lot of choices anymore. So I tried this. If you mix this stuff up "exactly" as the instructions say... like with measuring spoons and stuff, and you add a couple packets of Splenda, this stuff tastes fantastic. If you go off script and just wing it, it will taste like you strained hot milk through the devil's underwear. I beg of you, for once, follow the instructions... then add sweetener to your taste. You won't regret this purchase.

The item listing is confusing. The one spot it says 400 g and then another spot says six containers and 240 g. I wish the picture and the labelling matched the truth is it is one container 240 g. It is good if you like dark chocolate, thankfully I do. It is more similar to hot cocoa than most commercially available hot chocolate mixes if you get the distinction. I, similar to many diabetics, have a major sweet tooth. This mix is sweet enough, but barely for my liking. I did not taste the caramel.
