The challenge to keep up the pace and stay focused has been stressful.I think the Limina Light and Sound Machine by MindPlace will be just the right tool for navigating through my goals.I've used Light & Sound AVS (Audio Visual Systems) in the past, and the MindPlace products always had a reputation for product quality and quality of support. At the time, I had one of the "Legacy" devices called the Sirius, and I used it on and off with great benefits until it got lost in one of my apartment moves.I forgot all about the technology of Light and Sound and its benefits until reviewing this last year. Looking for something to help me get out of this mental fog, I searched for "benefits of light and sound on mental health" and came across an article on Medical News Today discussing a study that found Light and Sound Therapy may boost brain function. Arrived today. I put it all together, read the manuals, turned the thing on - one short burst of sound, then when I went to change sessions, no sound. I checked the earbuds. They're fine. Goggles are fine. I tried connecting to the laptop for sound, no dice. I think it's the actual Limina device, not the earbuds, cables, or laptop I have. I changed the batteries. I fiddled with the sound buttons. I changed earbud ports. I clicked the earbuds. NO SOUND. I called MindPlace support and got a recording saying due to Covid, most employees are working from home and that I must send an email! I guess phones don't work in people's homes? So I found their web site and sent an email. Let's see how long it takes to get a reply and a resolution. UGH....so disappointed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I liked my procyon AVS but I love my Limina AVS *by W***O on July 3, 2021* I liked my Procyon AVS but I love my Limina AVS. The sounds and lights on the Limina are a huge upgrade from the old Procyon I had. Having the deep vision glass is another plus. I thought it would feel more comfortable to use the AVS with my eyes closed but when I have my eyes open the colors are much clearer than what I see through the red of my eyelids.P.S. I did have a problem with the first unit I received. There was no sound coming from the device. I ordered a replacement from Amazon and returned all the parts from the defective Order.
