## Description

The STANLEY 3m Metric Only Powerlock Tape has been designed with Class II accuracy ensuring readings shown are accurate and precise. The Tru zero end hook moves accordingly to compensate for accurate inside and outside measurements. The Mylar coated blade is up to 10 times more resistant to abrasion than normal lacquered blades, increasing the lifespan of the blade. The durable case is made of strong ABS plastic. The 3 rivet design end hook is 40% stronger compared to 2 rivets making the overall tape more durable and improving the overall life of the tape. The compactness of the tape makes it easier to hold and transport.

Review: Handy Tape Measure - easy to carry around - This is an extremely handy tape measure. It's not big, bulky or weigh a ton. I have several larger tape measures, but when I need something on the go to quickly measuring small distances, door ways, and other items ... I reach for this tape measure. Why? It's just convenient. Note: I don't really use it for anything larger than 5'... and if I need to use something where the tape measure needs to stay straight, I use my larger tape measures. The tape on this is not as sturdy - obviously due to the size and thickness of the material used. I've never had issues with the tape inside the unit either (winding or unwinding)... again keep in mind, don't really use this for anything under 5-8'. TLDR - Great for small projects, small item measuring, and the portability. I recommend - plus it's inexpensive.
Review: Good, small tape measure. - This is a simple plain tape measure which is small so it fits in almost any drawer. It is not for remodeling projects, but is useful for measuring smaller distances around the house when you have a need to know how long something is. I still keep my serious Stanley tape measure with my tools, but this tape measure gets used more often for simple items.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Handy Tape Measure - easy to carry around
*by B***U on August 6, 2018*

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good, small tape measure.
*by J***. on January 17, 2026*

This is a simple plain tape measure which is small so it fits in almost any drawer. It is not for remodeling projects, but is useful for measuring smaller distances around the house when you have a need to know how long something is. I still keep my serious Stanley tape measure with my tools, but this tape measure gets used more often for simple items.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very useful product - well made, performs well, has endless uses, is compact for carry, and pricing is excellent
*by Z***S on July 26, 2014*

These little tape measures are awesome and a must-have. The compact form factor makes it practical to carry around, toss in a small compartment or bag, or just drop in your pocket. At the same time, you still get an entire 10 feet to use (a lot more than most compact tape measures.) Like Stanley's other tape measures, there really isn't much to say. They are built well, will last for many years, have great functional design aspects. And given the price is often for under $5 SHIPPED, it's one heckuva great value.
