Minecraft: Redstone Handbook: An Official Mojang Book

My daughter started playing Minecraft out of the blue one day and didn't know anything about it. This book has given her tons of ideas and information about the game that she wouldn't have picked up on her own. She keeps it by the computer for when she plays and it has also made her start lists of things she wants to do in the game. I work at her school and I've seen many children with the same book. They also love it and recommended we buy it.

We're trying to raise a family full of readers. My eight year-old son could read, but didn't really enjoy it. But this book has been fantastic! He brings it with us wherever we go and no longer feels like reading is a chore. It reads like an informational book, but has pictures and diagrams. The pages are visually enticing and the text is user-friendly. He's already counting down the days until this fall when the next book is released.

Pros. Sturdy hard cover, easy to read and understand, full color pictures, hi-gloss photo paper, you will most likely learn a lot that you did not know before about redstone. Cons. they do not show you how to make the community creations in the very back of the book like the elevator. But they do show you how to make everything else in the book. If you like minecraft this is a must have book.

This is a very well written book and the cover, binding, and pages are all good quality. Bottom line on the physical quality of the book: Very good. This book will last for a very long time under normal book wear and tear conditions. The content of the book is also very well done and presented. It goes through a lot of redstone components and explains what they do, and also shows you how to build a couple redstone contraptions. I only gave 4 stars however because it really only gives you 10 or so redstone machine plans, all of which are rather easy to build. As a pretty seasoned minecraft player, there wasn't too much new information for me in this book but what was there was very high quality. If it had given more complex redstone machine plans i would have given 5 stars, and I would definitely recommend this book to someone who is either new to minecraft or doesn't understand redstone very much.

My son is so thrilled with his book after a month wait. I can say it was worth the wait patience is a virtue. I am glad to see him happy. The condition is great & delivered with care. Thank you seller 👍

My kids love this book! It gives them so many ideas for building powered devices. They are building some amazing creations on the XBOX. Be aware that some devices featured in the book don't work quite as expected (as of this writing) on the XBOX version of Minecraft. The one I remember was the Jeb door. Most of the devices can't be built at all in the PE (pocket edition). The paper quality is great. The book has thick, glossy pages and good color saturation.

Absolutely perfect for any version of minecraft you are playing. My 8 yo and 6 yo have been using this for 8 months now. They love taking it in car trips and although they both have it memorized they still read it every day. I also found it fairly useful and enjoyable but you can find all the info online if you so choose that route.

From the minute that I opened this book, I could not put it down! I have been learning how to use redstone on my own. This book furthered my understanding of redstone, and now I spend countless hours of my free time making a new redstone creation!!!! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who would like to learn more about redstone. there are also some interesting creations that may spark your own original designs!

Livre assez intéressant qui rappelle (ou apprend) d'abord les bases de la redstone mais des systèmes assez complexes. La finition du livre est très bonne, le livre est vraiment agréable à l'oeil.
