It's well built, wonderfully quiet and has a small footprint. I didn't assemble it myself, but was told it was simple. Merchant was terrific. Only drawback is that with time, you might get a bit bored if this is your only piece of exercise equipment. Also, practice at the gym or in a store to make sure your knees and ankles can take it over time.
