The sintered brakes are amazing! Make sure you get the centerline rotors because ...
Recently upgraded to Guide RSC brakes and they have completely changed my bike and how I can ride technical black diamond trails in Los Angeles. I have used both resin and sintered pads. Resin pads will always have more bite and will be more quiet. The SRAM resin pads are top notch and last much longer than shimano. Shimano resin pads would only last me 3 weeks. The resin pads lasted 6 weeks. The sintered brakes are amazing! Make sure you get the centerline rotors because they're designed for the guide brakes. The sintered pads make a little noise when they're hot. But they offer less bite which I like, and will definitely last longer. The sintered brakes will last months compared to the weeks for resin. I highly recommend the sintered if you want them to last longer. Guides are the shiz!!!! If you have upgraditis like me, guides are a great investment into your riding!

Better than the lower priced aftermarket pads I have tried
These are expensive but perform much better than some of the lower priced alternatives I have tried. I am using them on a heavy, fat tire ebike which eats through pads more quickly than a typical analog bike.

Had a heck of a time getting them not to squeel.
After bedding and caliper re-alignment they still squeeled. Used Emory cloth on the rotors and on the pads, cleaned with alcohol (drank the rest) and that seemed to do the trick. The bike shop mech at the race said SRAM Guide R has a recall, and that cleaning with genuine Windex (nothing else since off-brands may have other chemicals) can also be done after the Emory cloth treatment. After all that the brakes worked fine at the downhill park. I'm not that experienced a biker so I cannot judge the brakes as well as others but they work fine for me.

Sintered pads are much better than the stock organic ones that came with my Bronson
Wow, the sintered pads are much much much better than the stock organic ones that came with my 2017 Bronson C S-Build (Guide RS Brakes). I have been riding a lot downhill parks and I noticed I was wearing through my stock organic pads quickly/ glazing them over getting brake fade. These solved that problem! I read a lot of reviews where people say metallic (sintered) pads are really good at "on/off" with the brakes, but that is NOT true. I think people say that because they are use to applying the pressure they use on the brake lever with organic pads to their new metallic pads and if locks up the brakes. Metallic pads have amazing grip on the rotors, so you can apply less pressure with your finger and modulate the brakes. I have also hear that metallic pads are "louder", which is caused by water on the pads, or uneven brake wear if your rotor is not centered. So if you fix that, then your silent again. I don't see any reason to get organic over metallic. Get these you'll love them. Also, you need to wear them in, so your rotors get embedded or your brakes wont work. Do this for about 10 minutes and you'll be all set.

SRAM Brake Pads - Sintered
Quick delivery and installed fine! Have a 2019 Canyon Neuron CF8 that works great! Takes longer to take the tire off to install these. No problems!

SRAM is good stuff.
Replaced my original pads with these. Most important step is the bedding in after installation. Watch the YouTube videos!!! It will save you a lot of headaches. A lot of headaches! Don’t ask me how😂

Salidas 3 días a la semana, 40 km media, enduro
