I liked the idea of being able to put a wick in my candle and these work but leave a dark film in my wax when burned. Not a big deal as I don't stare at my wax while it's burning, much. Also, the wick material gets floppy after it is warm and it is hard to keep it from falling into the wax when it becomes liquid while burning. I have a whole roll of wicks and mounting anchors, enough for a lifetime!

So the wick isn’t stiff enough to not fall a little when it melts the wax. And it doesn’t burn enough to not pull itself down into the wax. Not good for tall contained candles. I don’t know if it will be good for short ones but I bought it for 8” devotion candles.

It's a flimsy wick. The tab hole is waaaay too big; even if you use a crimping tool, the wick wiggles out. It's terrible

I bought these so I could reuse leftover wax from the disgustingly large collection of candles that I have no right to have *that many*. And since I bought some great tea lights that burn so cleanly I can reuse the cups, these worked great together. The thinner wick also burned really consistently and without soot, and I figured out how to put the discs in without adhesive so I’ve been reusing them multiple times. This is one of those purchases designed to reduce waste in my house and has been one of the more successful ventures. (Don’t think I didn’t re-use that shipping packaging already.) The wicks are designed for smaller candles so unless you plan on multi-wicking anything larger than votive, get a larger wick and appropriate disk holders.
