Aleene's Stop Fraying Fray Repairing Adhesive, Seam Sealing Glue for Frayed Edges on Fabric, 2 fl oz

I use this on the edge of patches for my patch jacket. It's super easy to use-- I put nitrile gloves on, put a bead on a fingertip, and lightly run around the perimeter of the patch, before "pinching" the edges to work it in. It dries clear, if you keep it thin-- I use it on black patches, and it's not noticable at all. Durable and easy to sew through, if you get a bit too far into the patch, and holds up to washing. Great value for how much you get!

Good stuff. I used it to repair a patio umbrellas canopy where the rib tore through the canvas. Goes on white and dries clear. I shot it with a hair dryer to speed the drying process. I won't know until next summer if it improves the durability and can confirm rain-waterproof-ness.

Great stuff. I made a pouf of decorator samples - silks, chenilles, brocades, woolens. These don’t generally play well together and this product sealed the seams after it was finished. There have been zero pulls, frays or loose threads.

Good product for cutoffs. Would recommend. Buy smaller tube if only doing a couple items as there is a lot in tube.

Used for my cross stitch Aida cloth. Goes on white, but dries clear, and you can’t even tell it’s there, which is what I was looking for. (See pic.) It’s thick, so I used a small paint brush, and went around the edges, and it worked great. It did take a bit to dry, but seems to be holding well.

Does the job well, I found, but it does leave a stain. I used on solid pillowcases that had been scratched by a cat, but after use, the glued spots were very visible, leaving a darker spot than the rest of the fabric. I tried everything to try to normalize or dissolve the dried glue, including softening the dried glue with the edge of a knife, nail polish remover, and rubbing alcohol. The spots would not go away. I finally had to replace the pillowcases.

I used this to stop the fray on my military work uniform, works pretty good 👍

Bottle was smaller than I expected, but it works well.

Genius idea. Easier to use with a small paint brush and a little pot to stop ribbons from fraying. Used for my daughters team Bow keyrings as works better than using a lighter I found. Can’t even tell have glued the edges. Needs 24 hours to fully cure which I found a peg drying rack super useful in this instance!
