54 yo blond aging mom who can’t get mascara right. But my lashes are also sparse, blond/grey and short. I used to tint them black. Which is why I was drawn to this. It is shockingly natural looking, but my lashes are longer. Not thicker, still worming on that. It also lasts longer than most mascara. It coats your lashes in what I assume is a mascara base, and I guess the tubes lock in the serum that helps your lashes grow out and keep growing. I have the clear one and use it at night. Great stuff.

Received in the mail yesterday and I tried it on today to wear around the house and see if any reaction develops since I have fairly sensitive eyes (and wear glasses). Nothing so far, which is really nice! I'd say this product deserves a solid 4 stars *if* you are looking for a product to make your lashes look more put together *without* using mascara. I tend to use mascara very rarely, only for special occasions, so I was attracted to this product as a more daily substitute that would allow me to treat my lashes while also making them look a little different. The product looks solid and good quality. It applies very easily, and I used multiple coats (like 3) to get my lashes to look more separated and a little bit darker. Since it takes multiple coats, I can't say yet about the value for money, but I think it should last me 3-5 months, which seems reasonable to me. I like that it has no irritation on my eyes. After letting the product dry, it doesn't seem to run when I gently run my fingers on my lashes (but I have not rubbed my eyes strongly so I can't guarantee the product won't run if you accidentally rub your eyes...then again, most mascara would probably run). I do think it makes my lashes look slightly longer, but don't know yet about the growth effect since I just started using the product. I use castor oil on my lashes so I expect this will have a similar, subtle nourishing effect but nothing dramatic. If you don't have mascara expectations, I think you will probably like this product. It most certainly does NOT substitute mascara if you want that thick and bold eyelash look. Also, as someone with dark brown hair, the effect of the black serum is really minimal. If you are blonde or have lighter facial hair, this will probably look amazing. If I'm being honest, I think I'm the only one who will be able to notice a difference between wearing this product and not wearing anything. That doesn't bother me, but if you want people to notice a difference, I'd say this won't do that (unless you have very light facial hair as I said). Overall verdict: this is the kind of product I was looking for as someone who wears minimal makeup and prioritizes treating my lashes on a daily basis. I take one star off to make buyers aware that it will not look like mascara, and because I don't know yet about the growth effect, which will take time to see. The way I view it, this is better for my lashes than wearing mascara, so I think the tradeoff is worth it.

I really like this serum for the price point. It gives a little added color pop on “no-makeup” days. I will definitely continue to purchase. Haven’t noticed any additional lash growth, but I get lash lifts and my lashes are full and healthy and I use this serum daily.

After applying Benton Honest Black Eyelash Serum to my eyelashes, an hour later my eyes were fiercely burning. After washing it off it helped but took another 5 hours to stop the burning. I must be allergic to something in the formula? I will try to return it.

Bien, facile d'utilisation. Encore trop tôt pour voir des résultats. Ne pique pas les yeux, odeur neutre, produit transparent.

Creo necesito más tiempo para ver cambios significativos pero creo me está ayudando y me gusta es transparente. Seguiré usándolo.
