This desktop mat looks great against my acrylic desk that I have! I believe that it will keep the desk from getting scratched up, or protect from a spill, or something like that. The quality is very good, it feels like a soft, real mat and not some kind of cheap material. The price point was good.

For $10 this was a great buy. I wanted to add a little pink to my vanity, and protect the surface/ cover up any thing I did to the wood already lol, and this was a perfect solution. The pink is light and true to the picture color. I prefer the light pink because it looks more clean and grown rather than cotton candy pink/hot pink etc I recommend if that is the look you are going for.. It feels very durable and like it will last a long time, not too thin, not too thick. It's curling a little bit because it came rolled up, but I am sure it will flatten out after some time and if not I'll just blow hot air on it with a blow dryer to make it lay flat. As expected, clean white, and it doesn’t move around unless you’re using it leather-side down. Hide-side down is the correct way, as it doesn’t move at all, and with the leather side up you can easily wipe off any smudges or messes. Perfect size for my desk!!
