Maple Walnut Syrup

I have usedcthese syrups for many years and lovecthem. This MaplecBacon is new to me and itcis delicious 😋 I will order it again and again!!!

I've tried a couple different sugar free syrups in the past few years. I don't use much on my pancakes or waffles, so it usually goes a long way. Previously I tried PYURE organic maple flavored syrup, it was ok. But the sugar substitute is not very good tasting and was glad to finish that up. Next I tried LAKANTO maple flavored syrup. It's also sugar free and has a pretty good and acceptable taste. However, once I tried WALDEN syrup; the search is over. Very good tasting. Makes me feel guilty that it's sugar free, because it tastes like something you put on a dessert. If you don't want your pancakes and waffles to taste like dessert, don't use this. For the price, I got 2 bottles. They arrive bubble wrapped. Just for caution, I made sure my SS order didn't have heavy items that might cause the bottles to break. They both arrived as expected and I'm enjoying breakfast pancakes and waffles again. The hint of walnut is a nice taste.

Nastiest and thinnest syrup I’ve ever tasted. Wish someone had posted an honest review previously so I wouldn’t have bought them. Has ugly aftertaste and no substance at all. Just pools on the plate.

Taste great If only I had not mixed it with cream cheese I wasted most all of it except one finger full I have to buy more soon

My 4 star rating isn't because I am rating artisinal quality chocolate from Switzerland, or frankly, even a substance close to Hershey's syrup. There is nothing remotely amazing about having to use a fat free, carb free, gluten free, calorie free, chocolate substitute. However, for those of us desperate enough for the real thing, this quells the cravings enough so that I don't actually stab someone eating the real thing. Another poor soul with similar diet restrictions to mine recommended this, and I jumped at the chance to taste a little chocolate again. As a child of the late 1970's, the taste reminds me of the Chocolate Fudge Lip Balm by Bonnie Bell that came in a tin tub with a sliding top. Nothing really natural tasting about it, but nothing so off-putting that I don't mix it in something and call it "dessert." I am still not quite desperate enough to use this as a topping on anything or on anything where I can truly grasp what I am ingesting, so for now, using it as a mix in to a similarly sad shake concoction works well. The consistency is very close to Hershey's, and the smell is definitely chocolaty. In fact, the second ingredient is cocoa powder, so they really are trying to work with us here. Bottom line, given a real choice about whether to choose real chocolate, or even Hershey's syrup or this, I'd rather eat the real deal, come what may.

The product itself is fine, better than herseys sugar free syrup (which isn’t saying much) anyway. But they did not send me 2 bottles like the page says. It seemed to good to be true that they sell 1 bottle for 9.99 or two bottles for 9.49, and it turns out it is too good to be true because they sent only one bottle. This stuff is ok, but it’s not worth $10 for a single bottle. The page should be corrected so more people don’t get tricked like I did.

I have used this product for a few years in a specific Ideal Protein Recipe, so I knew exactly what I was getting. I am no longer able to get this product locally so I had to order it. If you have never tasted it, you might not like the taste on its own. It is calorie free so how much can you expect from "chocolate" syrup that is calorie free. It was an essential element in my specific recipe. They did a great job of packaging it, no breakage in a glass bottle.

i used to love this product, but the recipe must have changed because it is now horrible; it's bitter and runny; i won't buy it again

I spent 4 years living in Canada and had easy access to cheap, good maple syrup. I really thought nothing would ever compare to it. Ever. Then i went on the Keto diet and oh boy, do i miss maple syrup! There is a keto pancake, why isnt there a keto maple syrup? I found this. OMG. Its DELICIOUS. Im hooked. Its SO nice. Its not maple syrup (obviously) but it is an extremely good substitute. The nutritional info is different to that shown in the product photo's, its the same as what a reviewer posted, but it is still keto friendly and thats good enough for me. I do wish they had just put what it actually says on the bottle, it would not have stopped me from buying it. Delivery was FAST. Over all, happy customer.

I am always looking for the perfect no sugar sweets and sweeteners, and I have to say I found something very good in this one, that will definitely become a staple for me. When using this as a topping for a yoghurt-, acai- or fruit bowl (I love having it on top of a blueberry bowl with yoghurt and granola), this is extremely delicious, tastes very indulgent, sweet and junk foody. Its consistency and thickness is perfect and in this context there is no artificial flavour felt for me. I would not recommend having it on its own, then the artificial flavour does come through, but I think this is okay, caramel in its normal state is a pure sugar product, so a no sugar alternative will always taste a bit different.
