5-star for the price, but this doesn't look like it will be a legacy product you'll be bragging about for years to come. It does get you organized. I don't see it holding up more than a few seasons though. The plastic clips that hold the wiring plug feel flimsy so once one of those prongs breaks, that functionality is gone. And the blue cap isn't attached to anything so I see it getting misplaced. There is obvious stress when tightening the screws, so use caution. The screws are a little long so they stick out a bit in the back. Wish now I had sprung for a metal one that will hold up for years.

I was concerned with this being plastic, but it is hearty. When you install it, notice that there is a separate insert for smaller diameter hitch posts. If yours is thicker, like mine and many, you DO NOT use that part. Trying to use that with a larger diameter post and then over-tightening could result in damaging/cracking the plastic, but otherwise installation is a breeze. Just be aware of any cable from an electric tongue jack when installing-not to tighten on it. But it works great and love having safety chains and electric connection off the ground. We used a couple zip ties to attach the trailer electric cord cover to the HITCH BOSS with enough slack to use it so that we don’t have to keep track of it all the time. If you mount it high enough to your electric jack, your jack cover will easily fit over it and keep water etc off the items when stored.

Are it’s a great idea. And it’s definitely something that is needed for travel trailers. The issue is the quality is not great. Keep in mind this is all plastic and if you tighten down the screws to tie the plastic cracks very quickly and then you can I get it tight. I would be surprised if this lasts a year. If you’re cool with buying one every 12 to 16 months then I would say go for it. I will probably buy another one win this one finally breaks.
