I agree, the one I received was fake. I have used She Uemura curlers exclusively for over a decade because they are so gentle. The one I received from Amazon pulled my eyelashes out when I used it. It's so horrible and damaging to your eyes. When I tried to post a review warning others it is fake, Amazon legit sent me a threatening message that I should "consider this my first warning" and that my post "violated community guidelines." This giant company is seriously picking on an American citizen because I was...honest and outed a fake product. Clearly they don't care about the customers, which makes sense given how they treat their workers. I'm offended by this threatening message and let them know that. I cannot believe they are trying to suppress customers for telling the truth.

What refill do I buy for this curler?

It comes with one refill. I only use the 2 that it comes with and then I get a new one. Seems like it doesn't work as well after using the refill. I am not sure if you can buy refills for it or not. I know I haven't been very helpful but that is what I do. I love these eyelash curlers. They are the best I have ever used and I will continue to buy them as long as they keep making them!
