Great table!
This was such a great hit at my nephew's first birthday! He loved it, as did all the other kids and even the parents. Everyone was asking where I got it. There's just so much to do for kids of all ages. My nephew had a lot of fun pouring the water down over the crow's nest and shooting the cannon. Even my brother got into the fray playing with him (which is exactly what I expected. Boys will be boys.) Its also very spacious, which makes it nice for more than one or two kids to play at the table, but also not too big that it gets in the way. I was looking for something entertaining that wasn't monstrous in size since my brother's backyard isn't huge. But the fact that my nephew loved it was the main thing. Awesome table for little kids, and I can definitely see him playing with it as he grows. Can't wait for this summer when he'll be two and will probably love it even more.

Great table, but the drain plug is horrible.
This water table is great. I read the reviews, and bought the fire pit cover as well which is a snug fit, but works great (https://www.amazon.com/Classic-Accessories-58992-EC-Terrazzo-Cover/dp/B00BBAP274/ref=pd_bxgy_21_img_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=ETA3WMW2D7HHNKP3MQJV) I had a few issues with the product though-- One leg didn't have the plastic molding correct on it. There was extra plastic still attached and it was a spot that had to line up perfectly to be inserted and screwed into the table. Nothing a hammer and flat head screw driver couldn't take off with a few hits likely. Up and running now with step one, getting the legs in place to then screw them into the table, I realized the screws if not placed just so, will come out the sides of the boat- where kids could hurt themselves. Annoying that you need to use six inch screws with no screw holes to line them up, that if you're not right on (which you're inserting them at a diagonal as it is), the screw will go through the plastic of the boat. It isn't where the water is held, so it doesn't create a leak, just looks crappy with a small hole there now. Problem #2: the drain plug sucks. After filling with water, my husband thought I was nuts when I told him to take our almost two year old out to play with the table that was now dry. He realized the plug didn't hold when the outdoor rug was soaked and we realized the problem. My son still played with it as it, but I was frustrated that I put this table together for my son's birthday and the one piece that HAS to work, doesn't. I flipped it over and it's holding water, but the plug is half in/half out and opposite way or upside-down from the instructions to get it to actually hold water. I see someone else got a plug at the hardware store to work, so I'll be trying that method or contacting Little Tikes soon. Until then, I refuse to touch the plug.

Great Water Table
We had wanted a water table that was reasonably priced and that had many play options, and this pirate one is perfect. We chose not to get a sand and water table since we did not want to have to replenish the sand all of the time. We love all of the included toys, including the anchor, the water cups with holes, the floating boat and inner tube, the two pirates and shark, and the big red bucket. The pirates can go down the slide, kids can turn the two yellow pieces to work the lazy river, a cannon can shoot water, and water can be pumped in the middle of the toy as well. We have had this for 3-4 months and our kids still love playing with it 3+ times a week. The table itself will last for awhile, but my 18 month old always pulls the cannon out and it does not work as well anymore. Even before he did this, we noticed that there has to be a lot of water in the table before the cannon will shoot even the tiniest trickle out. Still, this is the biggest complaint that we have and with all of the other activities on the table this is still an amazing buy. My 3 1/2 year old and 18 month old love it! I love that I can use this as an alternative to a kiddie pool when it is not as hot out, so it will get a lot of use.

This is THE water table to get!
I researched several water tables before settling on the Little Tikes Anchors Away Pirate Ship. The other water tables had issues with leaking or a ball getting stuck in a funnel so I chose this one. This one does not leak, by the way. Pros: - The pirate theme is great for both boys and girls. My daughter loves it. - The table is made in the shape of a boat which is a cute touch. - There are so many things to play with - squirt the water cannon, squirt the shark, push the people in a boat or life saver, push the water pump in the middle, drop the people down the slide, pour different buckets of water over the water pump/fountain and watch the wheels spin, make waves, play with the steering wheel, and crank the anchor. - It has been 3 months and my daughter still wants to play with it. Cons: - I wish there was a cover since bugs get inside when the table is left outside overnight (but no water table comes with a lid) Overall, we are happy with this purchase and got it right before the price went up. Your kids will love it too!

Great Fun, with some issues..
This looked like it was the most fun, so I got it for my not-quite-yet 2 year old daughter. She absolutely loves it! We spent hours playing with the toys it came with. I keep it inside, as the weather has been less than friendly and I don't want her wandering off in my not-yet-kid-friendly backyard. I have a small area rug with a somewhat waterproof backing under it, and a couple towels on top of the rug, so little water gets on the carpet. I also put the bucket away to limit the amount of water she can pour out. It comes with a little life raft and a boat, as well as two little sailors who for some reason strike a bizarre pose with their hands. There are two little ladles, one with two holes and one like a sieve, so she can scoop up water and watch it drain out. There's an anchor on a pulley, a slide, a steering wheel, and two sideways paddle wheel type things that can either move water around, or be removed and handed to daddy because their very existence offends her for some reason. I left it full of water for three days, and no water leaked out. It's also pretty stable, though empty my daughter was able to tip it over. Note that although this wasn't what I'd call dirty, it wasn't something you'd want to drink water out of. I say this because my daughter tried drinking water out of it. She's still getting the hang of drinking out of containers that aren't bottles or sippy cups, so most of the water went on her clothes, the floor, and of course her diaper. She also tried her hand at plunging her face into the water. You really want to clean this properly before putting it to work. I would recommend a gentle sanitizer spray, wiping the surfaces down that can be wiped down, and a thorough rinse. Because of the above, and the quality of most of this water table, is why I only took off one star. Assembly is required, and I managed to break part of the slide because the parts didn't quite fit. I got it on there, and nobody will notice what's broken (the tabs underneath) but I wasn't pleased. I am very good at putting these things together, and IKEA furniture is a snap, so it wasn't my goof. The drain plug was kind of a bear to put in, but it works great. The cannon is a water squirt gun, which is cool. What's not cool is, if you fill the table with water to the recommended level, the hose for the squirt gun doesn't get submerged, and it won't stay adjusted. While I could easily replace the hose, the button for the squirt gun requires quite a bit of force, more than squirt guns designed for the appropriate age group, and it was actually enough to dislodge it from its mount. In fact, my daughter pulled it off in two minutes, and since she keeps doing that I just left it off. Granted, this table is designed for older children, but it's not like she's got bulging Hulk-like muscles, nor has she displayed any superpowers. The water cannon is kind of a waste. The mast assembly in the middle has a hand operated water pump. It sends water up to the top, where it flows down over cool little paddles and such. The pump is a joke as well. Like the cannon, if the water is at the recommended level, the pump doesn't work. I did fill it quite a bit higher, and it worked, but poorly. Again, I am aware this is for older children, so I made allowances for the strength needed to operate it, as well as its inconvenient location. Still, when using it, about half of the water pumped comes up at the pump plunger itself, instead of going up the mast. That's when it finally starts pumping, as it took half a dozen quick, forceful pumps to make anything happen. The moment you stop pumping, the last drops are coming from the top, so you can't enjoy the waterfall show. I don't expect seals to be tight...this is a toy, after all, and it should last several years, but they could have done MUCH better on this. So much energy is spent pumping the water that there's no time to watch where it goes or what its doing. I'm probably going to end up putting a small, battery operated pump in there. Even with these shortcomings, I still think this is a great toy at a reasonable price. Just don't let your enthusiasm get out of control when you think of the water cannon or the mast pump.

Toddler Loves It!
This is a huge hit with my little man. He absolutely loves water and will play with his pirate ship for hours. It is big, be warned, and very bulky. It's easy to set up but we had a difficult time getting it through our doors because of it's side and shape. It lives in the backyard and will retire to the garage when Summer is over. It has so many features and extra's to keep my toddler entertained. When we are finished we just pull the plug and all of the water drains out. It's super easy to clean, as well. We just hose it out and viola, clean. It is very sturdy. My toddler crawled into the middle of it and it didn't tip over or even wobble.

Nephew Loves it
I bought this for my nephew for Christmas. When he played with it in the warmer weather he absolutely loved it. The squirter gun, spinning the wave maker, and even playing with the pirates. Definitely was worth the buy seeing his joy. Good product too, sturdy, easy to assemble, and nice quality. The balls could have a little more weight to them since it's easy to launch them too far but you just don't pull back all the way and it works fine. Overall, very pleased.

The Best for little ones!
My 17 month old son loves this! Has been playing with it constantly. Loves it with water, but still Enjoys it with only the toys and no water. It is very sturdy ( he actually has climbed in it and sat in there)! The little toys, pirates, shark, boats and strainer cups are a bonus. Highly recommend! Note my husband used a drill to set it up and felt it would be harder to assemble without.
