No, not really. It was only virtually made in Antarctica. In reality it was made in a small ocean village on the outskirts of Phoenix, Arizona.

Will this scope handle the abuse a mosin nagant will dish out?

OK, so I have it on a 458 win Mag, not much (but there is) with more Recoil, 55 rounds and the only thing struggling is my shoulder scope is finehaving said that by good rings and lock-tite with proper torque on the set screws

what is the max Eye relief?

Assuming your question is about the Vortex Crossfire II 2-7x32 Scout Scope, the Vortex website lists the eye relief as 9.45 inches. That said, I have mine mounted out as far out on my scout as it will go and I wish I had at least one or two more slots to go.

How clear would bullet holes on a target a hundred yards away be . Would I be able to count them easily with a 308 caliber?

I was not able to see .44 holes at 100 yards on paper targets. Very clear image but not enough magnification for me to see the holes.
