They are not a full 1 foot long.
They are not a foot long, more like 11-1/2”, plastic shields are a bit hard to snap in, and block a good bit of light from getting thru.

Good diffusion
Individual LEDs are jusssst barely visible at 144/m but this is overall a good diffusion channel, build solid and they fit my WS2812b LED tape perfect

Does what it needs to, would buy again if needed
Easy to use with a couple of mounting options. Tou can still see the spacing between the Led strip but it cuts the harshness a bit ant looks way better then just an LED strip in the open.

I would not buy it
The The quality is out of a cheaper mass production where you can tell that the cover does not fit properly into the aluminum without a lot of force. I had to use a hammer to tap the cover into the aluminum plate. I would not recommend buying these if you want something that is simple and easy to use. Also the diffusion of light is very poor you can clearly see the individual LEDs.

Good track for led cob light installed into a truck tool box.
Just installed the track into my tool box with a LED cob USB tape light, track works great with the suppled clips and screws, I put some 3M double sided tape on the back of the clips to the tool box to help reduce the vibration when driving and add strength.
