Can I use this without having brita bottle? Like i just drop this into my regular thermo flask bottle

I’m going to say probably not. brita bottles have a specific opening in the straw to put the filter down in. That way as you drink it filters it out. It wouldn’t do much more than just float if you dropped it in a non brita bottle.

Does the filter have expiry date? I want to store it for a long time.

It doesn't have an exact expiration date. However, I bought this for my 13 yr old daughter. She drinks alot of room temperature water. (I'd say minimum of 6 bottles per day if not more) Because she drinks so much, I replace her filter every 45 days. I think it depends on how much water u think you'd drink daily. On average it can be used about 3 months before being changed out. I hope this helps!

Can you store the filter if not in use all the time?

Makes Disney Water MUCH More Drinkable, In Fact It Was Better tasting Than Bottled Water....

So, I have just got back from holiday in sunny Florida and I ended up buying one of these bottles as I drink a lot of water each day. We are talking at least 2 ltr a day easily, and this is the first easy to use product that makes Florida water drinkable! I took this round Disney parks with me and filled up at the fountains and it tasted sooooo much better, as in it actually tastes less chemically than Dasani bottled water (we usually buy this in bulk at Walmart when holidaying there) and this is so much better tasting than that. So much so I regretted buying bottled water the first couple of days we were there. With this I can just fill it anywhere and know I have clean crisp, great tasting water at any time. Im one of those who uses a filter jug at home as I drink so much water and this was an absolute life saver, its the first time I could drink tap water in Florida.

Works Great In 2 Styles of Brita Bottles =)=)

I really like these Brita filters! For the following reasons. 1) They work very well at filtering things out of your water. A family members mishap of pouring tea into all our bottles and pitchers became a impromptu test for some of us who didn't catch the mistake. It removed all the tea color flavor & sugar. Only when refilling did we notice the sticky brown residue on the filters.(we now leave our Cool Gear Bottles on a different shelf from our Brita.) They are a economical and environmental friendly choice that work much better than other more expensive filters I have tried. 3 These filters fit both the Sport and Hard side Brita bottles. 4 I find them much easier to start I run the outside and the inside of the filter under the water for 15 to 20 seconds. Have had not had no residue in my drink in the 8 refills I have used . SO GLAD I can now buy them here now! Highest recommendation I could give .

I have an older water battle so it took a bit of work to get the replacement in, but now it's working which is great as I couldn't find refills anywhere in store.
