Can you see the clues?
These crime puzzles are billed as needing only one’s keen sense of logic, one’s wits, and close attention to detail. Definitely, using just these skills will reveal how much tuning up is needed by the brain. The 65 puzzles presented will provide lots of opportunities for testing the reader’s deductive reasoning skills. This would make an excellent activity for individuals or groups as well as an excellent gift for those who enjoy puzzles or problem-solving.I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book provided by the publisher and Net Galley. However, the thoughts expressed are totally my own.

A fun challenge
Do you read lots of mysteries? Do you think that you could be a good detective? Do you enjoy puzzle books? If your answers are yes, you will surely enjoy this title. The author presents 65 short cases that the reader is invited to solve. Test your wits and wile away some time most pleasantly as you go through the cases. Some I could solve but others not. I really enjoyed this book.

Great for travel!
This is a great activity book for a long car ride, flight, or family game night. Each brain teaser is between half a page to 2 pages long - making them easy to do. I love that each one is different and not just a "who done it?" questions. Some of these really made me think, but were so entertaining. I would love to see another book where all the brain teasers are connected - like solving a real crime.

Great for families!
This was a great crime puzzle book to do with families. My kids and I had a blast reading each one and trying to figure it out under 60 secs, which almost never happened in our case, but we still had a great time! This book would make a great rainy day, let’s stay at home family book.

Fun for YA
This is really more of a YA workbook, not so much a book for adults. The graphics are charming, but the "brain teasers" are not so much.

My 'short' edition was not short...
My editions title reads, 'CRIME PUZZLES a SHORT forensic mysteries to challenge your inner amature detective'My guess is the 'short' refers to the size of the book, which is 7"x6"1/2."Its a neat little book. Packed with quite a lot of interesting stuff...which I did enjoy reading, the page I could see!BUT in this SHORT LITTLE BOOK they didn't tell me how small the print was. I figured it was the usual size12pt print..BUT it's only 8pt at the most! That means it's TINY! Which for me, renders it unreadable! Now hat leaves me with a delimma of taking possibly cost ,not to mention time! I wonder if it comes in a regural NORMAL size print and a READABLE version!I was really dissapointed with this one! Can't read something you can't SEE!
