Will this help with steering wheel slop at highway speeds in my 93 grand cherokee?

Not as much as you may think, but every bit helps, normally it's not just one thing on these beasts. Look up fixing "Dodge death wobble" Check / replace ball joints, tie rod ends, the rubber bushing that hold the anti- sway bar in place ... . Break lose outer ring (locking) and tighten the inner ring then re-tighten the outer ring on the steering box, where the shaft from the steering wheel goes in. Then check everything else. When you think you got it all then get or do a front alignment.
