Goldwood Sound GW-208/8 OEM 8" Woofer 200 Watts 8ohm Replacement Speaker, Black

I got a Free damaged Fender Rumble 15, all that was damaged was the speaker 8". So read on some fender forums about this Speaker, it is cheap or inexpensive so I gave the speaker a shot. To my surprise the bass speaker sounded great for my bass combo using a bass. Then I converted this bass combo into a speaker cab adding an instrument input direct to the speaker and another for the combo in the back. I then bought a small Joyo Tweed 20w head and plugged it in to the speaker using my 12 string. Man it sounds great! I can't believe I'm getting such a great sound from this speaker, sounds better than many guitar combo amps out there! So you don't have to buy a Celestion or a Eminence speaker because this little speaker has such a great sound, and I have various bass and guitar amps to compare to. I highly recommended this speaker you'll not only save some money but you'll be amazed at the sound.

My older sub busted. I replaced the older sub with this one. It is working and not overwhelming. It works just fine.

Purchased as a replacement for a >25 year old paper cone speaker in an active subwoofer. More product info, of spec's, would have been nice since this purchase was mostly made on faith. After a few minor adjustments the replacement worked and the sound is great. Hopefully another 25 or more years.

Bought this to replace a buzzing JVC subwoofer for my surround sound system. Arrived intact and in a timely manner. Easy installation and sounds better than expected for the price. No more buzzing and very good deep bass tones.

Didn't quite fit the opening of my old speaker because they don't make them any more. But I made it work and it sounds great.

Inexpensive solution for a blown set of speakers. They work great and were easy to install.

Replaced a hard-to-find blown 8" woofer in a Mirage speaker (bookshelf M-490). Just replaced the one so have a mismatched set for now. It fit nicely and seems well-made given the cost. Reasonably matches the original in tone though missing some of the low punch but produces reasonably tight mid-bass. No complaints on initial install and overall met expectations. Initial quality seems good. Likely will replace the second so the set matches and probably will need a sub. Solid speaker, don't expect audiophile quality, good value for the price.

Sounded so horrible it was funny. Returned that day.

It's just what I needed.

It needs a lot of power before it starts to move. Not what I expected. Basses are clear but very little.

The woofer works as expected, reasonable low frequency performance

Bajos potentes. Buenos materiales. Recomendable.

My old sub-woofer in my media room started sounding awful after 25 years. As it was hundreds of pounds t buy a new one I bought this to simply replace the faulthy cone. It works well providing good sound quality and is far cheaper than buting a whole new sub-woofer unit.
