When I first opened it up there was a significant chip in the paint missing, I didn't really care about it. But as I was setting it up for the VERY first time, the handle to tighten it broke off. The first gust of wind made the umbrella crumble. If you're going to a park or somewhere where there is virtually no wind, this would do perfect. Anything above that, not so much.

It was smaller than I expected and was slightly damaged (cap was missing on top of umbrella) but since it was delivered a day before beach trip I used it anyway
