Truck topper tailgate had been modified and this worked to cover the cut metal and to seal better than before. Metal inside the clipping portion make it a bit more difficult to cut, but the metal is what makes it bite and not become loose. I did not need adhesives at all. I would recomment removing the small metal clip at the very edge of your cut or it will rust. They are small individual and easily removed.

This seal fits perfectly -- after cutting to size -- on the split door of my Aliner Scout Parks edition. I wish I'd though to replace the original sooner, because that thing never fit well. This one slid right on tightly and seems like a much more durable replacement. I am not too worried about leakage, because the old seal lever fit well at all, and there was no leakage with it. It's the end of camping season this year, and I look forward to seeing this new seal in action in 2026.

This was perfect for this job. Aside from cutters all you need is a mallet, and a little patience. As you align slot to edge use a little downward pressure and seat gasket with mallet.

Bought a leer top for my pickup, set up for camping with nice screened sliding windows for breeze and ventilation, but pickup tailgate is not a sealed fit and in FL mosquitos will find a way. Put this along the edges of the tailgate, installed easy, looks like it will stay in place very well, and solved my problem perfectly.

Used for my boat live wells, baitwell and dry storage compartments.

I bought this to replace the door seal in my Aliner camper and it worked perfectly. No glue needed, stays tight, went around bends fine.

Good for use on classic 1950s Cars to replace the worn out door jamb windlace. Just clips on the cloth fabric panels. Save time by not having to remove the panels and stapling it to the metal door jambs.

I installed it on my UTV worked well and seals good.

I bought this product based on reviews. My mistake. Wanted to replace the old strip seal where the lid closes on my little trailer. Was hard to install. No instructions for those of us who have never done this kind of thing before. Corners were not fun. The rubber was torn in places, (I did not realize that until after I cut it to length and installed it). The bulb is thin and seems flimsy, hope it holds up to the weather and keeps the rain out. And today it's cheaper than when I bought it. :(
