Cashel Quiet Ride Horse Fly Mask with Ears, Black, Horse

These are great for riding light weight. Don’t put on in pasture if your horse rubs on things. Not meant for that but great for a ride to keep the pests away.

First of all, anyone who negatively reviewed this because it didn’t hold up in the pasture needs to be ignored! This is NOT meant as a turnout fly mask! It’s very light and basically almost sheer all the way around. It’s meant to be used while riding...thus, the name Quiet Ride. And it works wonderfully for that purpose. Had to get this because of the horrible deer flies that attached themselves to my horse’s ears during our trail riding. Put this on over his bridle and enjoyed a ride with no head throwing or discomfort for my horse. Love my Cashel turnoutfly mask and this is just as great. Very well made and fits perfectly. Expect to enjoy it for a while!

My husband and I both use these masks on our horses. They fit nicely, they’re lightweight, the ear coverings are important for keeping small insects and deer flies out of their ears. During the summer months, we are never without them. I’d say they are well made, but because they are fairly lightweight, they don’t last as long as the masks we use for when the horses are in the pasture. That’s okay, because they work!

I like this fly mask have been buying it for years. I like the fact that it’s lightweight and it makes it easier for the horse to see and yet keeps pests out.. The only thing I would change is if you would paint some eyeballs on it so that my horses neighbor doesn’t keep pulling it off his head. I took fabric paint and did that and it helped.

I really love Cashel fly masks. They are well made and reasonably priced. However, this one didn’t work for riding at least with my big boy. I think because of the seams by his eyes it may have created a problem with him seeing clearly. He hardly ever spooks and on my ride today he spooked twice and almost lost me. We were on the same trail we always ride annd the only difference was the mask.

always use these masks, for years. had to buy a new one for a new horse. can't leave the arena without one.

This fly mask is perfect for the super hot Texas summer. It’s made for use while you’re riding, but because my horse is easy on his masks, he can wear it all day. If your horses are rubber, it won’t last long.

Mon cheval ne porte jamais de masque à mouches. Le fit est parfait par-dessus sa bride, nous sommes partis en rando 4h et jamais le masque n'a semblé l'incommoder! J'ai le noir, il est très beau. Reste à savoir s'il le restera longtemps!
