I'm just getting started
As of this review, I've only used both products once. I am working a rotation between this product and a couple of other shampoos and conditioners. It did not make much in the way of suds, but I believe I have to step away from that expectation and tend towards some things off the path for the long-term health of my hair. Great product with promise this far.

Look at expiration date
After using the Wow Red Onion Black Seed Oil Shampoo and Conditioner one time after receiving it several months ago in September, my hair started falling out again. I stowed the products, hoping the hair fall was related to some other issue and I might try them again at a later date. It's taken several months with other products to get my hair stabilized and growing again. I pulled the Wow products out again last night and noticed a Manufacturing Date of Feb 2022 and Use Before Date of Jan 2024. This company sent out products that were very near to their expiration date, and now the product can't be returned. I believe now that the product was off, being so far out from manufacturing date and so close to expiration, and that was what led to the hair fall.

Ehhh the jury is definitely still out on this one, worked for hubby not for me....
I think my hair might be too damaged to use this safely. I washed and conditioned with this product and afterwards had some ends of my damaged hair snap off. I'm not blaming it on the product, I just think it was too much for my weaken strands. My husband on the other hand used it for his hair and beard and it made both shiny and moisturized. I think it might work better as a clarifying wash for those who have very damaged hair. The oil that goes with this variety is very nice however. I still plan on using the shampoo and conditioner in the future when more of my damaged ends are trimmed away. The oil I plan on using biweekly for my edges and ends.
