This game is super simple to learn and I'd say a kid from 8 up could play it. The play is simple as well and it can be completed anywhere from 15-25 min. Quick and easy and th concept is cute. We like to play that you scream like a goat when one makes it to the top of the mountain.

I bought Mountain Goats to play with my two daughters, and it’s been a great addition to our game nights. It’s quick to set up, easy to learn, and fun for all of us—even with one younger child, one teenager, and an adult playing together. The game is short, which I love, and it’s perfect for kids learning to count. The quality is great, all pieces are still in perfect condition, and we absolutely love it.

The objective of the game is for your goats to climb to the crest of the mountains to gather tokens. The player with the highest score of tokens at the end of the game wins. Your dice roll determines how you move your goats up the mountains. The game provides the luck of the dice roll, combined with strategic decisions choices. Strategy comes from choosing between the individual dice, or combining the dice to move your goats up the mountains to capture tokens. Younger grandchildren can play a simple, straight forward dice roll, while older grandchildren can develop cognitive decision making while combining dice. The luck of the dice roll can level the playing field so that ANYONE, (strategic or just learning) has the chance to win! The game is also very compact & easy to store or take when traveling. HIGHLY RECOMMEND purchasing; you WON’T be disappointed!

This is a fun push-your-luck dice rolling game with enough strategy thrown in to make it both enjoyable and replayable. My daughter and I played this quite a bit. It’s a great compact size for travel, and a good game to introduce to non gamers, yet with enough strategy to hold gamers attention. Allplay makes some good games with a small footprint. Recommended.

Easy to learn strategy game to get your goats to the top of the mountain while preventing your opponents' goats from reaching the top first. Rules are easy to learn and I don't think it took us 20 min to play a full game. Can easily play multiple times in the same sitting without getting bored. Game is different every time you play.

Me gustan estos juegos por que son sencillos, muy fáciles de explicar a niños y adultos, en una cajita compacta y con componentes de calidad aceptable; en este caso las cabras son muy bonitas. El objetivo es tirar dados y acomodarlos en grupos (según sus valores) y mover a tus cabras hacia las cimas de las montañas que coinciden con los números de los dados recogiendo puntos y lanzando hacia abajo a cualquier cabra que este en la cima. Cuando se acaban las fichas de puntos en tres cimas el juego termina. Todo bien, bonito y entretenido para un rato. Una vez más los jugadores avanzados no encontraran mucho aquí, pero quienes quieren convivir con niños, familia o amigos que no juegan cosas complejas... la pasaran bien. Hay una expansión para ampliar el numero de jugadores de venta aquí en amazon. Las cartas que representan las montañas son un dolor de cabeza para quienes quieren enfundar. Se necesitan fundas de 105x105, pero hasta donde se no existen y lo único es intentar conseguir fundas para fotos de 105x150 y recortarlas, pero también es complejo encontrarlas
