Africa, Amazing Africa: Country by Country (My Amazing Adventures) Review: It’s an amazing book - This book is an absolute delight! With its colorful illustrations and each country fact list, it's the perfect introduction to the African continent for young readers. Our boys are 3 and 4 and they always select this book at least once a week to read but definitely appropriate for even older kids and adults. What sets this book apart is its ability to capture the imagination of children. The stories are told in a way that is both fun and educational, making it easy for kids to absorb new information about the landscapes, and cultures of Africa. And the illustrations are simply stunning - they bring the book to life in a way that's truly magical. But perhaps the best thing about "Africa Amazing Africa" is the way it celebrates diversity. Through the stories and illustrations, children are introduced to the many different cultures and traditions that make Africa such a vibrant and fascinating place. It's a great way to teach kids about the continent. Overall, "Africa Amazing Africa" is a must-have for any parent or teacher looking to spark a sense of wonder and curiosity in young children. It's a book that will be treasured for years to come, and one that's sure to inspire a lifelong love of learning and exploration. Review: Wise purchase, fun resource! - Fantastic book! I am from West Africa and I was delighted to find a book that could help show my children the diversity and vibrance of the whole continent while highlighting interesting facts about each individual country (because...Africa is not a country!!) This book was perfect. I appreciate that it avoided simply listing dry facts and went way beyond the common approach of focusing on animals or stereotypical images. This colorful book is a lively, well-written, child-friendly homage to a continent where you can find everything you can imagine under the sun. I love how the book organizes the countries by region, too...this worked well for our homeschool geography study. And it exposed our whole family to fascinating, little-known aspects of each country that we could then run off to research more on our own if we wanted...great resource!

Africa! AMAZING Africa
I used this book in conjunction with an Anna Hibiscus novel to teach a unit on Africa to 1st and 3rd grade. This is a wonderful book! It does a fantastic job of introducing the wonder and diversity of Africa. The illustrations are stunning and the information ranges from historical, industrial, ecological, cultural, to geographical. By the completion of the unit my students had a love and respect for Africa.

Great Book to Have
This book is an excellent introduction to Africa and all of the countries it possesses. It is a lovely addition to our library. I do wish it had more factoids, I am a sucker for little facts. Even then, this is truly an wonderful book to have and the illustrations are beautiful.

A great intro to the unique happenings in each African country
I really enjoyed reading this book with my son. He found something interesting on every single page. I had to help him with some pronunciations but it was great reading on his level.
