Excellent quality alcohol markers, must have.
If you are looking to dive into the world of professional-grade coloring without the "professional-grade" price tag, the Ohuhu 168 Alcohol Marker Set is widely considered the gold standard for budget-friendly art supplies. Here is a breakdown of how they perform in the real world. The Verdict: High-End Performance, Mid-Range Price The Ohuhu 168 set is a powerhouse for illustrators, hobbyists, and adult colorists. While they aren’t "refillable" in the same way some luxury brands are, the sheer volume of colors and the quality of the ink make them a formidable competitor to brands like Copic. The Pros Exceptional Color Range: With 168 shades, you get an incredible spectrum of skin tones, pastels, and vibrant primaries. You’ll rarely find yourself needing a "missing" transition color. Seamless Blending: The alcohol-based ink is high quality. It stays wet long enough to manipulate, allowing for smooth gradients without harsh lines. Dual Tips: Most sets feature a versatile Brush Tip (great for organic shapes and pressure control) and a Broad Chisel Tip (perfect for filling large areas quickly). Organized Portability: The set comes in a sturdy carrying case with a plastic organizer at the bottom to keep the markers upright—a huge plus for keeping your workspace tidy. Price Point: You are getting 168 markers for a fraction of what you’d pay for a 72-set of premium Japanese markers. The Cons Ink Bleed: Like all alcohol markers, these will bleed through standard paper. You must use heavy-weight marker paper or cardstock (and always use a "protector sheet" underneath). Cap Color Inconsistency: The color on the plastic cap doesn't always perfectly match the ink on the paper. Pro tip: Use the included blank swatching sheet immediately to see the true colors. Non-Refillable (Mostly): While Ohuhu has started introducing individual markers and some refills, it is not yet as comprehensive or easy to maintain as the Copic ecosystem. Smell: There is a noticeable chemical scent. It’s not overpowering, but it’s best used in a room with decent airflow.

The Best!!
These markers are absolutely worth it! The colors are vibrant, blend beautifully, and the brush/fine tips make coloring and detailing super easy. I love the huge variety of shades, especially the pastel tones included in the 168 set. The carrying case keeps everything organized, and the markers feel really high quality for the price. Perfect for coloring books, drawing, and art projects!

Great coloring markers - package details
I love these markers for coloring. The package includes 2 color swatch pages and a plastic bleedproof shield to put between your coloring page and the next to prevent bleedthrough (all in the lining of the zippered case). It also includes a a blending marker (contains just the solvent, no color), and a zippered case with 6 structured compartments to keep markers organized. The markers blend like a dream. I've found that I don't even need the blending marker, and can just blend the colors together when they are still wet (sometimes requires a second coat to help blend). However, the blending marker comes in handy after colors have already dried. These markers do bleed through like crazy, which is expected with alcohol markers. The plastic sheet that comes with the markers is great, but needs to be wiped down with isopropyl alcohol between uses to avoid picking up unwanted colors. Cardstock between the pages also works well. I got the brush tip/chisel tip combo, but I do wish I had gone with the brush tip/bullet tip combo for easier detail work. The chisel tip is difficult to maneuver for small details. Overall, I would highly recommend getting this marker set. They are refillable (new feature, select colors only), but when they dry out I think I'll use it as an excuse to upgrade to the 320 color set. They are expensive, but totally worth the investment.

Worth the money.
Great quality markers. I was nervous about spending so much money on something as simple as markers but they were worth it. Super smooth and blendable. You get a great variety of colors for a base package and if you're good with blending and color theory you may not need to buy extension packs.

Great product! Beautiful colors. Silky smooth. Easy-to-remove caps.
I have several sets of these markers and I love them! The ink is smooth and silky. Plentiful colors (although I wish they had bright yellow). And--very important for me--the caps are easily removed and replaced. I use them on Canson Graduate Mixed Media paper and there is no bleeding into the next page. Also, their customer service is friendly and helpful; one of the markers arrived dry because the cap was loose, and they quickly replaced it. This is going to give me many hours of fun.

Amazing pigment and price point
These are the best bang for your buck for alcohol based markers. They’re nearly 1:1 in term of quality of the highest end markers (you know the ones that cost $8-9 per marker). They’re great for using in coloring books and provide a great variety of tones with good pigment. Functionally they work great, but the chisel tip point edge is bit too sharp for some coloring books and leaves indentations in the page.

My favorite Alcohol Markers
I love these markers. The marker are easy to use and dries smooth and quickly. There are so many colors to choose from so for now, I'm just working on my color combinations and blending. I had one that was dry so I recommend you do the swatch card when you get your set, to make sure that all your pens work. These are good quality pens and bleeding depends on the quality of paper you are coloring on. Overall, I would recommend this for a serious colorer. For beginners, I'd recommend a smaller set. Just so you don't get overwhelmed by the color choices.

Awesome alcohol markers for serious amateurs
These markers are something else! I'm in love. As an amateur marker user, I'd no idea what to expect. I already have the Ohuhu 100 pieces watercolor markers but God, do they streak everywhere, no matter the paper. Still, investing in a steep product like this one was a bit of a gamble since I'm into art only as a hobby. But man, these are GOOOOOD. The set came with all 168 pens intact, colors bright and the packaging immaculate. They also send a transparent sheet to keep under your artwork so the color doesn't bleed onto the next sheet. Some of the markers had their chisel nibs protruding outwards. Nothing a gentle push doesn't fix though. I didn't get the extra nibs like someone in the reviews said they give with this set. Boo hoo. But their website says that the nibs can be taken out and flipped over and you're good to go. My only grouse is that some of the shades are near similar to make any difference at all. The color GY173 and a couple others are so light that when you draw with them, they are mostly invisible and the ink is on the drier side so it feels scratchy while working with those pens. Also, some of the pens slaptter paint, so be careful. Open them away from your artwork. The pens come now with compartments, so that's an improvement on the previous sets, but they don't come organised based on their color chart. I had to take out all of them, swatch them and arrange them in their compartments based on color groups, as you can see in the picture I've attached. It would be helpful if the manufacturer does that. There is streaking especially in the darker colors, but it's minimal, also I believe that is because I don't know yet how to use these markers correctly. They're alcohol markers so they will bleed even though I bought the Ohuhu marker pad to go with the colors, but it still bled through which means you can't use the other side of the paper for any artwork. If you're starting out with alcohol markers, please, please invest in proper marker paper with a heavy GSM because if you don't, these markers will bleed through and streak and you will feel like they don't work. They work only on paper meant for alcohol markers. It's an expensive hobby, but it's worth it when you see the results. All in all, great, great set with nearly all the colors an amateur or ever pros may need. I've never used Copics, Artezas or Poscas to know what's the difference between them and these markers, except that they are EXPENSIVE, and Ohuhu is not so much. Besides I'm doing this for fun, and I'm HAVING FUN with them. So no complaints. So go ahead, even if you're a pro and want to dabble in marker art. This is the right place to start.
