The image shows 205 mm: not clear if that is inside-inside of the top and bottom, or outside-outside. I have not seen 205 mm legs anywhere else

Hi. The dimensions are Overall from the top of the support disc to the bottom of the flexible U support of 270mm. The length between the bottom of the support disc and the top the joist is 205mm. The pictures with the item now has the dimensions labelled. I hope this helps

Should you install the stilts first then the under insulation, what best practice? About to add the second layer to the loft across the Joists.

I put the base layer of insulation (100 mm) between the ceiling rafters to cover the entire area. Put down an initial strip of top up layer (170 mm) across the base layer and rafters and then a row of loft legs. The insulation was pre cut at 400mm. I put a length of 400mm down and the next row of legs. As I worked across the space I also screwed lengths of 3” x 1” to the top of the legs. This gives you extra air space to prevent a build up of condensation and more leeway when fitting the floor boards.

I’m confused about how you fix the boards to the stilts, do you screw the boards into the plastic? Just can’t see how that works!
