Does its job: check Not made in China: check Two thumbs up. Tefen nylon 66 hose barbs work nicely on 3/4" Swann garden hose. Their fit is tight enough I was glad to have a heat gun to soften the hose. The DIY clamps in my pic were made with ASINs B06Y1VYR9F and B00XWK7SNC. This review is not a compensated promo. I bought all these items.

Repaired a yard sprinkler line.

The 3/4" Tefen hose fitting slips into standard 3/4" drip irrigation tubing way too easily and leaks heavily when pressurized. Adding hose clamps did not stop the leak. Another brand of connector I found at the local hardware store measures .012" larger in diameter at the largest part of the barbs and it was just tight enough to create a watertight connection. I still gave it 4 stars because it may work on other kinds of 3/4" tubing and the overall quality of the piece looks fine, but they should have better described compatibility in the product description.

I have (4) fifty foot round 5/8” drip sprinkler hoses for flowerbeds. The one that gets sun all day keeps cracking and getting holes . I couldn’t find correct fittings at Lowe’s so I used copper and hose clamps but too expensive. I fixed 2 hoses with 4 connectors and took off my hose clamps and copper for other projects. No clamps needed if you screw these in all the way. Turned water on and Bingo (No Leaks). I saved $50 (cost of 2 new hoses) by buying connectors & repairing these.

I like these to patch garden hoses because they are the same inside diameter. Just use hose clamps or wire ties to attach.

I am using them on lab hoses for extensions on several vacuum lines. Solvents and acids cause them to need to be replaced now and then, but they work fine and are durable for a very long time.. On air or water only tubes, I imagine they would last indefinitely. Thank you.

While this looks like a good product, I find it curious that the measurement you select from the drop down are the outside diameter of the end of the lip (ie not including the ribs) and not the diameter pipe this will fit. I guess maybe I don't have enough experience, but this was something I looked for when purchasing and it is not described anywhere. So for mt 5/16 outside diameter pipe I suspect that I need 3/16 connectors...I guess we will see when it comes in. The description could be a lot more descriptive (hence the 3* rating) but I am glad we have this site as I could not find these connectors anywhere locally. Update: after ordering 3/16 connectors for my 5/16 line I installed these no problem (warm up the plastic line with hot water). In the end I am very happy I could get these online...just frustrated that they did not have sufficient information to order correctly the first time.
