All the critters love this,holds water and food,could have been a little bigger,pretty stable easy hooked on to deck ,expensive,I fill it up and then line food on the rest of the rail so everything has food.

Love this feeder! I was struggling to find a bird feeder that would work on my balcony without drilling into the concrete of the balcony above me. This was the answer! My cats now get to watch dozens of birds come by for a snack and a bath everyday. It comes with one wire mesh basket and two plastic water bowls, and you can interchange them as you like. The mesh basket doesn't keep all of the smaller seed in, but it does a pretty good job. The plastic dishes are easy to fill and hold water without leaks. They're fairly thick without being heavy. The railing attachment holds securely to my balcony even with multiple birds sitting in the dishes fighting over food. My cats have plenty of enrichment in their enclosure now!

We live on the 11th floor and wanted to see if we could attract some birds, so we decided on this feeder. First it offered the exact fit and size needed for our balcony situation. The clamp for the rail is very sturdy, as we have had it in place for 6 months now. The feeder did also attract birds both large and small. But unfortunately the big birds (pigeons) took over so now we mostly use it for the bird bath for smaller birds. PROS: Easy to install on a railing. Both water and seed dishes remove easily to clean. Attract birds of all sizes. CONS: Appearance is nothing special. The dishes are not secure in the fitting, so without the weight of the water, I'm afraid the dish could blow away with high wind. OVERALL: It is a good option if you need a feeder to attach to a rail. We enjoy watching the small birds taking a bath on the balcony.

The dimensions on this is listed weird. It says "15.75 inch-1". I didn't read close enough because the pictures provided are clearer. But these are not 15.75 inch. Or whatever that description on the product selection box is. Actually that doesn't even match centimeters either. I ordered the 2 in 1 set, and these are both approximately 6.9 inches across, or 17.7cm. My other hanging feeder like this is 12 inches across. It's not mesh and I was looking to upgrade it. But these are substantially smaller and likely too small. The 12 inch feeder like this is perfect, as the smaller birds like standing in it (sometimes two at a time) and it gives them plenty of space to land. This new smaller one is getting snubbed by said birds. Thou it likely would deter larger birds that are able to balance well, if that is what you are looking for. I will say that this is well made. The tray and the handing frame and quite nice. I just wish they were bigger. I'll probably keep this, but I'll also probably order a larger one.
