Walnut Cigar Ashtray

Description

This ashtray is made out of a piece of walnut. The wood itself has a sheen and a beauty that is unmatched. Walnut takes at least 100 years to mature, so the wood is at least that old. This also makes it somewhat rare and sought after. The size of this tray is around 2 inches thick and about 7 inches in diameter. Because it is a natural product, the sizes will vary and there will be blemishes such as small cracks known as "checking" in the wood. All of these things are part of the natural aspect of the wood. Any check that is visible has been treated to insure that it will not fall apart, unless of course if you drop it.
