Fits TLR-1 HL kydex holster
It's actually a really good light! Plenty bright with a nice hot spot in the center and a good amount of flood. It's sturdy and has stood up to about 400 rounds so far. Added bonus, it fits my TLR-1 HL iwb kydex holster as long as I loosened the retention screw a bit. It does not however, fit any type of locking holster for the TLR-1. Overall really great buy

Inexpensive but rugged
I needed a simple low cost light that's going to ride around in the truck. This one fits that bill, it's built sturdy, it's a bright light and it meets my needs.

TLR1 Clone?
I originally went to Bass Pro Shops looking for a Streamlight TLR-1, but I couldn't justify the high price tag. I decided to take a chance on this light instead, and after owning it for over a year, I can confidently say it was the right decision. First, durability: I have put this through the ringer and drop-tested it multiple times, and it is still fully operable and reliable. The size and form factor are almost identical to the TLR-1, fitting my setup perfectly. It is super easy to operate and exceptionally bright. The only minor observation is that it is slightly heavier than the name-brand version, likely due to more robust materials, but it is hardly noticeable while shooting. With top-tier features without paying premium prices, do not hesitate to use this one. It’s an amazing, durable light. I hope this helps.

Overall a great light but some cons
This light is obviously more affordable than name brand stuff but it is impressively bright, with a vivid white light and seems to be of good quality, for the price. The switch functions a little different to other lights of this style that I've used but it's fairly easy to figure out and get used to. Beware though, this light is probably one of the biggest 'pistol' lights of this style that I've come across. It's lense and overall body diameter is more similar to a rifle light, but it is more compact in its length than a rifle light. I would be a little hesitant to put this on a pistol myself and think it's more suited for a long gun. Either way it works exactly as I expected and is great for my setup. The size wasn't an issue for me.

Great for the price
I don't write very many reviews, but I thought I should for this light. I just received the Gmconn 1200 lumen light and so far I'm impressed for the price. It is 6 times cheaper than the TLR-1 HL of which I have 3 and just as bright. It seems solid and well made, but I cannot rate the durability yet. It takes the same batteries as the HL, but does not have the hardware to tailor to a specific firearm fit so the switch may be farther out than desired. It mounted ok on my firearm. Time will tell on the battery life and durability.

Buy This Light...Seriously
I was hesitant at first to purchase this, but after reading the other reviews I tried it out, and I have to say I was blown away! I have used Streamlight and Olight lights for the last few years in EDC and have experience with Surefire X300's in my classes. Don't be thrown off the by low price expecting poor quality. This light is every bit as good or better than a Streamlight TLR-1 or PL Pro for 1/3 the price (And they both are made in china anyway, just like this one...) and the Surefire X300 for 1/5 the price. The construction feels sturdy and tolerances are tight. It's all metal, and it holds up just fine under recoil from 9mm up to my 45 supers. It's 200 lumens brighter and has 3000 more candela than the TLR-1 or Surefire; has a good run time (stays at full brightness the whole time too unlike Olight) and it fits in my holster set up for TLR-1. The switches are a bit less "crisp" than my tlr-1, but that is completely irrelevant to me. It's extremely bright, it turns on and off when I want, it has options for strobe for those who want that for some reason, and it does securely fit both glock and pic rails. I've tested it on both polymer and metal rails and it fits securely with 0 wobble or rattle. This will do just fine for any CCW or Home defense pistol set up. Don't do anything ridiculous like go swimming with your pistol or drag it behind your truck up a mountain road and it will do the job perfectly. Plus you don't have to spend $150-$300 on a 10 year old light design that hasn't changed.

Okay - does not fit safariland for TLR-1HL
This light is alright. My duty weapon is equipped with a TLR-1HL, and so I have lots of gear that works with this light. I combed through these reviews to see if this budget light would fit into an old safariland holster and decided to try it out. This light works fine, but it unfortunately does not fit any of my Glock w/ TLR-1 holsters. I have some other issues: The light often goes into the “strobe” feature when I first switch it “on” from “off” - I don’t love that. The light is a bit loose when completely secured, but it stays on at the range. It works. It is bright. It is cheap. It uses the same batteries as my other lights. It is great for a nightstand gun.
