George Washington Doll - 12" Soft Stuffed Plush Little Thinker

This was a Christmas gift to my granddaughter who is fascinated by George Washington. The family came to visit this summer and we took her to Washington's Crossing State Park where she led the troops (parents, baby brother and Grammy) across the pedestrian bridge to NJ. Luckily she didn't expect us to walk to Trenton because unlike the actual crossing, it was a hot, muggy summer day. She really enjoyed seeing the exhibitions in the Visitors Center and all the authentic houses from George Washington's days that exist around Bucks County. So this was on her Christmas list this year. I was happy to encourage her interest in America's history- I was born in Philadelphia and my husband walked by the Liberty Bell for almost 50 years on his way to work everyday. The doll is well-made and recognizable as George Washington. Granddaughter is happy and Grammy is happy that she's happy.

A must for anyone who loves George Washington, history, freedom, the Colonial Era or America. At the price point without analysing how unique the plush doll is or hard to find, one might think its overpriced and not worth it. It's worth every penny! Nicely made and a good representation being plush, of the real George Washington. Keep in mind that it's harder to make a plush be close to the real image than it is a plastic action figure. This one is a must! Very neat, giftable and makes a great collectible. Very neat to put in a plastic display case to keep dust away for collectibles or place him in your book case next to your favorite history books or the Constitution. I think he makes a great gift. As usual, everything from this company is excellent and brings joy to both myself and my students! This will be the fourth larger plush I’ve put in my classroom for 11th graders. I also have Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, and Ben Franklin. The students, despite being almost 18, love them and are so excited when I get another. Lincoln has survived three years and is going strong, so I’m happy to keep investing in others.

Lovely Washington doll! The detail is great, from the sword to the lace sleeves to his tricorne to his little epaulettes. The only criticism I have for him is how massive his queue is (as you can see in the pic). It makes the doll very top heavy and therefore he can’t sit up unassisted. Other than that, he’s great. Highly recommended for any founding father/history lovers.

I am so pleased with the workmanship of these dolls. Very well made with many details. There is a large variety of these dolls made by the unemployed philosophers guild. The price is also great. I highly recommend these dolls.

This doll was everything he wanted! My 5 year old LOVES all things George Washington and presidents. He got this as a Easter gift, so fast forward 8 months of daily love and it is still holding up! I’ve washed and dried it twice and it looks great! It even went with him to get his tonsils out! We have Abe Lincoln and I’m ordering Teddy Roosevelt for Christmas! Would buy more!!

My daughter loves history and is leaving for college in the fall, these are perfect for her dorm room! They are made very well and will make nice keep sakes. I bought three so far, you wont be disappointed.

The doll seems to be very good quality. Leaving it in the bag as it is a gift for someone. Weighted so it should sit nicely on display. Was received in less than 24 hours with Prime.
