I have had one of those old fashioned, galumphing stacked steamers for some decades. Even a small one occupied way too much space to leave out, was an absolute faff to clean, and a pain to store and reassemble. I was steaming little in the end, because of all the above. Enter this lovely little pot. Perfect for 1 or 2. It looks appealing and is really light, - though a heavyweight in terms of the flavoursome and easy punch it can pack, with or without rice, to anything benefitting from steaming. So with the little metal steamer tray, which can easily be popped on top of the rice basket, at the right time to get steamed vegetables with the rice (or whatever else you might steam, ditto) this is perfect. Plus of course you can just use it with the steamer basket and water only in the rice basket. This lacks the bells and whistles of some more expensive digital models, but, I don't need those bells and whistles. This has just a cook option, and switches itself to 'warm' when whatever is in the rice basket, is cooked - I assume this is when all the water is absorbed. Tip to avoid sticky stuff (which will easily clean soaked in hot soapy water anyway) - washing your rice before hand gets rid of some of the starch and so does having a small amount of oil in the basket, less than a teaspoon, just use the provided spoon or some other wood or silicone implement to turn your washed rice over in the oil, to coat it, before adding your water.

I didn't hesitate to buy this as I wanted and needed to make more ( perfect) rice . Works well everytime and am amazed at how well it cooks the rice . So many different rice recipes to make . So much so that I bought one for my wonderful niece who thanks me for such a thoughtful gift and the ability to also make perfect rice . Easy to clean and simple to make the rice .

Great for cooking rice and steaming vegetables together. Saves time and reduces washing up. Extremely simple to use, just a power switch and an On button which turns off automatically when rice is cooked.

My wife hates kitchen gadgets and so while she was away on a break I bought this rice cooker. Great rice every time and noe even my wife uses it! Endorsement indeed!

I got this so I could save money on buying microwave or boil in a bag rice and it's worth it. The wire is a little annoying as it is on the side and I have a small kitchen with limited space but it still does the job. Cleaning is easy. The steamer is also good, can use it with or without rice cooking!

I have this seven months now and I have to say, it’s a great buy. I am so glad I invested in it to replace my older rice cooker. I don’t cook rice in it but steam my fish, meat and veg. Turns out perfect every time.

Excellent little machine, but it does start to crisp up the bottom if left in for too long on the warm setting after done cooking.

it's a good cooker, it should take around 20 minutes to cook but if it took a lil longer it's probably because it was filled too much.

Product is good. This is my second one. Edit - Delivery dropped at wrong address first but arrived later.

Overall it's good but the inner pot got peeled after 3-4 months

جميله نفس الصوره وغير قابله للالتصاق <جربته مره وحده الى الان> طبخت فيها رز مصري (لسوشي) بس حطيت معه شويه زيت وملح، اتبعت التعليمات في كمية الماء وصار مررره حب فزدته ماء ورجعت خليته طبخ مره ثانبة، طلع زين. بختصار يحتاج ماء اكثر من الكميه الي يقولونها (لرز المصري) الملاحظه: -قمر (حمر) الرز من تحت شوي بس ما قرر ولا لزق. -تنظيف القدر سهل جدا ما فيه شي التصق. -حجمه صغير لكن مب صغييييير، شريته على اساس انه يكفي لشخص واحد لكن يكفي شخصين بالراحه.

I chose this item other than other rice cookers is because it’s unique design with spoon and lid holder on the handle. But I received the normal design. However the size is just perfect for me
