Would this work for a v7?

To answer your question... No! The Dyson V8 motorized head attachments do not fit the V7 . You can get an adaptor for the "non motorized" attachments if that helps??

Does this attachment work on hard wood floors?

Yes it does. I have 4000 sqft ft of hardwood flooring and works great. I think it does work better on stronger mode though.

Do you have Dyson V6 parts?

I have a v8, recently replaced one om my daughters animal and it worked great.
