I absolutely love my new pillow! I knew I wanted a shredded latex pillow that was adjustable with a soft cover, and this product absolutely hit every mark. Bonus that it's made in the U.S. by a small business. The cover is so soft and the quilting gives it a plush feel. I love that it has a zippered cover for the shredded latex filling, and an outer zippered cover that can be washed. It is very easy to access the latex filling and I took a fair amount out to make it perfect for me. I'm a back sleeper so I don't want it to full. Even though I have less filling now, the pillow still feels pillowy and buoyant without the filling smashing out from beneath my head like goose down pillows do. Before I removed any filling, I felt that the pillow had enough loft for side sleeping if I wanted. The shredded latex pieces are very small and soft, and not at all lumpy. I highly recommend! I purchased two Sleep Artisan Latex King Size Adjustable Bed Pillows and am so pleased I made the decision to do so. Each pillow arrived vacuum packed in a plastic outer wrap, rolled and fitted into a cotton drawstring bag. Once unpacked, they immediately expanded and became quite plump. I allowed two days before putting them into pillow cases and placing them on my bed -- just to allow them to fully expand and air out. I have not noticed any odor emitted by these pillows. These pillows are lofty, as they are overfilled -- filling can be removed if a less lofty pillow is more comfortable. The filling is contained within an inner zippered case, which is inserted into a very attractive, well-made outer zippered case. I am a multi-position sleeper, have not removed any filling and have been sleeping comfortably on my pillow just as it is. The malleability of the filling within these pillows allows for infinite adjustment for maximum comfort. No matter how much they are twisted and scrunched, they return to shape with just a little fluffing. They also sleep cool. I am pleased that the materials used in these pillows (natural Talalay latex and poly silk fiber filling, and washable organic cotton, hemp, polyester cover) are non-toxic and environmentally-friendly. And they are handmade in California!

Best pillow I've ever slept on!

I dare you to find a better quality pillow that offers the perfect amount of support than this pillow!! The outer cover of this pillow is made of high quality fabric that I am sure will last for years to come! I have purchased several memory foam pillows that were more than double the price of this one, and my head would sink down too far and gave little support as the foam got warm, and they all slept very hot. This pillow has the PERFECT amount of support after your head sinks down into it and never gets hot. The fact you can adjust this pillow by removing foam, means you can totally change the height of it for you personal preferences. (Mine was perfect right out of the box) If you have neck issues like I do, don’t hesitate to purchase this pillow so you can sleep comfortably again. The pillow I received is exactly as advertised and I am very pleased with the overall quality. IMPORTANT: Be aware that it really may be necessary to remove some of the filling to get the right height and firmness for you height, width, weight, and sleep style. That is how it this pillow is designed to work and that was the case for me. I used to have frequent sore neck and headaches in the morning. This pillow has solved that problem but I did have to adjust it to get that result. Take the time to try it out as-is, then remove filling if you need to and try again. Save the removed filling in case you overshoot. Rinse and repeat as necessary. Once you get it right, you will be very happy.
