Essential Tool for Guitar Maintenance and Repair
I recently purchased the Guitar Radius Gauge Universal Tool, and I have to say, it's been a game-changer for my guitar maintenance routine. This set of 9 understring radius gauges has made it incredibly easy for me to ensure my guitar's neck is properly set up for optimal playability. First and foremost, the versatility of this tool set is impressive. With 9 different gauges ranging from 7.25 inches to 20 inches, I can accurately measure the radius of virtually any guitar neck, regardless of the make or model. This level of precision is essential for achieving the perfect setup and ensuring that the strings sit comfortably on the fretboard. The quality of the gauges is top-notch. Each gauge is made from durable stainless steel, ensuring longevity and accuracy over time. The markings are clear and easy to read, making it simple to identify the correct radius for my guitar neck. Plus, the compact size of the gauges makes them easy to store and transport, so I can take them with me wherever I go. Using the gauges is a breeze. I simply place the appropriate gauge under the strings near the bridge, and then adjust the truss rod until the gauge sits snugly against the frets. This ensures that the neck has the correct amount of curvature, preventing issues like buzzing or fretting out.

Important kit you never thought of for your Guitar
new GUITAR or new strings, 3 things need attention if you have string buzz. 1. The neck needs to be straight, tick. 2. The strings need raising or lowering at the saddle, tick but still buzz. 3 your bridge saddles need setting to the same radius as the width curve or the neck. for that you need these. so are these any good?? They're accurate in the arc both top and bottom andthere is one to match 99% of necks. Easy to use, rest upright on strings next to bridge after settinh th height of both E strings, raise or lower each string until guage sits resting on all six strings equally, bridge is now set. being stamp made these are thick enough to be sturdy without being to thick. THE ONLY DOWN ON THE QUALITY AND STAR LOSER, being stamped they have not been finished so have sharp edges that could bamage strings, a light rub over to soften the edges wont take long but shouldnt be needed. Value for money ?Yes ! you can buy more expensive but for the irregularity of use, and the fact they match neck profiles of most regular guitars, why pay more for the same thing , these do their job and are good value for money.

Done the job! Strat much better!
These are thin, but totally useable and have helped me set up my Strat so much better. Just be careful when you apply them under the strings and they shouldn't bend. A great addition to my kit.

Poorly finished
Decent enough quality, but poorly finished. One side has nicely rounded edges, but the rear edges are very sharp. Easy enough fix with a file, but don’t feel I should have to.

Fret Radius gauges.
Good for the price. Be prepared to de-burr the edges. I used fine wet and dry. Radius measured out ok. Have only checked the 12 inch one, but I see no reason why the others would be wrong.

Does the job....
........ but drops a star for the material (stainless steel?) being only 0.8mm thick. They're pretty essential if setting up a guitar with adjustable saddles and these aren't the tools you'll need to use every day. The thickness doesn't affect their functionality but just be aware what you're buying. Otherwise OK.
