I saw a few reviews talking about how these aren't bright. I'm wondering if people are getting the single rows of lights (like I did) and are expecting the double rows (600 LED instead of 300 LED) I put these in a camp trailer, wired to the internal 12v system. I used one of the wireless remotes so I could dim them as well. They work great. No dead leds or any problems for me. The cuttable sections with the solder points worked out great. Due to poor planning on my part I ended up soldering these while they were hanging from the ceiling and I still got it done. The pads are a little small but still very usable. The adhesive isn't great but I expected that going in. I ended up using some double sided auto body molding tape. It's expensive but it works great.

I put these in my blazer for extra lighting and they work really well, great value for the money and they weren’t too hard to install

I have installed this in a old florescent light fixture to replace in a work shop. Each strip uses 9.117 watts at 12 volts. Be careful of the voltage to high will over heat or under volt if you want the brightness. mount on metal strip as I heat sink for better performance on the live time of the LED's. Power supply can't be to small or over size or voltage. I will get back on the life of the LED's later in the year. I hot glued then in, the adhesive is poor (3M corp Junk) they will not stay in place very long at all. 1620 LED's installed 120volt input power supply 240watts 12volt output max all heat sink-ed. Without heat sinking they heat up FAST! LED's NOT LIKE HEAT BURN OUT FAST 7-20-2021Update At 10.5 volts too 9.5 volts these LED's work just find and have been running without any problems as the heat will damage them. At 11 volts and 13 volts they will get so hot there hard to handle if not heat sinked on metal strip and then they will burn out fast. Without a accurate volt meter a quarter of a volt will make a difference in the longevity. so precision is a MUST.

***READ BEFORE BUYING*** Lots of negative reviews about adhesion. Adhesive is basically a really sticky 2 sided tape with a paper backing. Make sure adhesive doesn't come off with the paper backing. Mine started to and lights were sticking but not like they should. After putting adhesive and paper backing back on and peeling only paper backing off they stick fine. I've installed 3-4 of these strips now and the adhesion is on par with all the rest I've installed. These lights are bright. Picture doesn't really do it justice. LED's get drowned out quickly by natural light, which is fine b/c you don't need them during the day, and cameras aren't as sensitive as the human eye.
