are these sticky? like clorox triple action dusters?

these are not like Clorox triple action dusters at all! They leave an extremely sticky residue on your fingers if you use them to wipe surfaces with your hands. These sticky residue won't come off with soap and water. I had to use oil-based cleanser to get it off. I think these are meant to be attached onto the bottoms of sweepers only. They do not leave residue on furniture surfaces just your fingers.

Question 2

Are these suitable for laminate wood-look flooring?  I am concerned it will leave them sticky.

I have never had a problem with these cloths leaving a sticky residue on anything I dusted.

I used them on my polyurethane coated, solid red oak wood flooring.

I think perhaps the people who have had that problem are pressing too hard.

I only run the dusting mop with the pads on them lightly over the floor.  They have never left a sticky residue on the floor.  If the cloth is no longer picking up dust dirt or fur, I turn it over and use the clean side until that no longer works. Then I change the cloth.

I also use a vinyl glove when I use them to dust by hand because as noted by some, it does leave a sticky residue on your skin, if you hold it tightly.

It does NOT, however, leave a sticky residue on the wood furniture.  Again, you need not press the cloth hard onto the furniture. Simply swipe it over the wood lightly.

why is there a roll of toilet paper in the picture?

It is NOT toilet paper. The sheets come in a roll. The box has a serrated opening that you can use to slide the sheets through and cut them off the way you'd cut aluminum foil.

Does it work with swifter?

Accepted Answer

Yes it does. I tear off a piece long enough to stick ends into the holes on my swifter dust mop. Works way better than the swifter pads and if it's not too gross on first side you can reverse and use other side as well. If you only have swifter wet jet u can use 2 rubber bands to adhere to the mop.
