This pillow is wonderful. Enough padding that it feels protective but not so much that it feels restrictive. Also long enough. Seems well made. Very happy with purchase.

I have had heart trouble since 2011. Open heart surgery, stents, stopped and restarted my heart and more ablations than I can remember. I have a red, ugly scar on my chest after the open heart surgery that is still painful after 12 years. I look like a car with front end body damage. The seatbelt rubbed on the scar so I would use a folded towel for a cushion. It helped but did not want to stay in place. On this past Aug. 26 and Sept 11, I had a severe, sustained ventricular tachycardia event on each day. The ER cardiologist and my own cardiologist do not know why I am still alive. Anyway, this resulted in an ICD (defibrillator) being implanted in my upper left chest. The ICD is directly under the seatbelt and I don't want the seatbelt rubbing on it as it is most painful. I watched YouTube videos about the dangers of the seatbelt damaging the ICD, or me, in case of a hard stop or front end collision. Actually, I could sustain more damage from the titanium device hard pressing into me. One of the videos showed seatbelt cushions so I researched them and settled on 2 of these. I had never heard of them before. This cushion is thick, held on with 2 Velcro areas and a clip to keep the cushion from sliding down. I put one in my convertible and the other in my F-150. One is not needed on the passenger seat in my wife's SUV as the seatbelt does not bother me. I feel safer and more comfortable having these when I drive.

The post op instructions said to use a hand towel to pad the pacemaker from the seat belt, but this cushion worked much easier, was a great pad, and it can be left on the seatbelt to make it more convenient.

Nice to use for surgeries around the chest areas. comfortable but feels bit bulky.

This pillow helped me ride more comfortably in my car. I’m petite and this pillow’s size is perfect. They sent a clip for stabilizing, but I didn’t use it. I enjoyed that I could move it around to suit my comfort. It’s a bit thick. So, if someone else is driving, I could rest my head on it. The Velcro is soft and separates easily which is nice for moving and removing and it doesn’t scratch. If you are considering this, you likely will have a long recovery ahead and this would help. This pillow worked well for me. Best wishes.

Love the fabric on this cushion, though it came with black smeared stain on it that won't wash off. I like the velcro, doesn't get stuck in my hair or clothes.

The pillow is well made and hold seat belt away from surgery. I would advise from my experience
