Quality is next to none. Very heavy. There’s a premiumness to it. Surface is polished. Heating takes a bit longer due its thick surface. Cooks well and food doesn’t stick to it.

Worth the buy! The Indus Valley cast iron kadai is really solid and heavy — feels durable and long-lasting. It heats evenly and gives food that authentic taste. You can tell it’s pure cast iron just by the weight and texture. Needs a bit of care, but totally worth it for the quality. Great product overall!

QUALITY IS NOT UP TO OUR EXPECTATIONS
THE KADAI IS SAID TO BE PRE-SEASONED. STILL WE SEASONED AS PER MANUFACTURER'S GUIDLENS, STILL IT IS RUSTING EVERY DAY. WE HAVE TO REMOVE RUST. OUR 35 YEAR OLD KADAIPURCHASED LOCALLY PERFORMS BETTER. I BOUGHT ONE DOSA TAWA FROM MAYER .IT DOES NOT HAVE ANY SUCH PROBLEM. EVERY DAY I HAVE TO HEAR COMPLAINT FROM MY WIFE !!!!

Okay 👍
Will cook any veg fries very quickly. But when fry boiled eggs due to high heat of kadai inside eggs completely changed colour in to black. So, think twice when you do egg fries on this.
